NAACP, Covid bioterrorist-Criminal Leaders; Federation of American Citizens Scientists and their Associates Worldwide should be tracked and be brought to JUSTICE. Trump and his GOP Allies claimed that FBI Agency searching his Mar-a-Lago Home was Politically weaponized by President Biden, the DOJ and the Democrats, that was a lie. FBIs searching Trump's Home were searching for EVIDENCE in COVID pandemic bioterrorism Conspiracy. Trump's knowledge in COVID pandemic bioterrorism Conspiracy in 2020; should be exposed. COVID bioterrorist -Conspirators; Federation of American Citizens Scientists and their Associates; horrendous terrorist and bioterrorist Criminal activities in the shadows in US and in Worldwide Countries in the past 22 years should not be covered up coz their Leadership are Special Whites. COVID pandemic bioterrorism a US National Security issue and International Security issue; is MUCH WORSE THAN New York 9/11 terrorism, MUCH WORSE THAN Hamas terrorism in Israel on October 7th and Covid pandemic bioterrorism Conspiracy in 2020 is MUCH MUCH WORSE THAN Victim Trump's 1st, 2nd and 3rd assassination attempts. Covid pandemic Victims' Case is related to the Classified Documents Case should not be dismissed. The SCOTUS ruled that Trump has some immunity not total immunity. Covid bioterrorism pandemic the WORST bioterrorist-Crime in Human History since the beginning of the World; needs to be investigated. Judge Cannon, a Trump supporter, should not have dismissed the Classified Documents Case. Discovery evidences related to Trump and his Aides COVID briefings at the White House in November 2019 at night time; (Guests Meeting logs, White House Gates camera videos, emails and phone contacts etc), if THOSE INVESTIGATIONS LEADS-ITEMS are missing, there was a cover-up in COVID pandemic bioterrorism Conspiracy.Trump should have deleted, shredded or trashed away THOSE INVESTIGATIONS LEADS-ITEMS before he left the White House in early 2020, THOSE INVESTIGATIONS LEADS-ITEMS should not be ignored. Covid bioterrorism pandemic have wrongfully killed millions of People in the US and in Worldwide Countries. Covid bioterrorism Conspiracy in 2020 was intentionally masterminded in the shadows by Federation of American-Citizens Scientists (White Jewish Leadership, Republicans, Independents; Edward Snowden Affiliates) and their Associates Worldwide; Spies who Bush Administration awarded spy-Contracts and millions of dollars in 2002 to 2007. Wuhan bio-Lab leakage was not the origin of Covid. Trump and his GOP Allies lied on China as the source of Covid virus, China is a Victim like all other Countries Worldwide which have been affected with Covid pandemic. According to Peter Navarro's comments in KABC News two weeks after Wuhan Covid outbreak in 2020, he said "we had Coronavirus briefing at the White House in November 2019, we were scared to go to sleep at night after the briefing". That means Peter Navarro, Trump and others who attended Covid Briefing at the White House in November 2019 possibly at night time; before Wuhan Covid outbreak in 2020, they should have knowledge in Covid bioterrorism Conspiracy in 2020 and the true source of Covid virus but they covered up. The same bioterrorist-Criminals; Federation of American Scientists and their Associates (Chase Security Company Owners; Republicans) masterminded in the shadows Global Mexico H1N1 bioterrorism Conspiracy in 2009, they used Homeland Security Clearances in travelling to Cancun Mexico; that way the Border Authorities couldn't inspect their carry-on bags or luggages. Let Authorities or the Lower Courts as the SCOTUS explained; investigate in details so that JUSTICE IS SERVED.

Danielle was very insightful in that we spend as much on educating a child $7k per year as we pay for inmates physical and mental health $7K per year. Could we spend more on teacher's salaries? I often wonder how a teacher with a Masters Degree end's up teaching and earning $40K a year. That sounds like a lot? Does it? Are we attracting devoted people, and very capable people? Should salary be the incentive? Well we shouldn't try to compete with the Big Wall Street Banks by paying teachers more than bankers. But you see? People make choices in early life what they want to become, or do professionally. And some people may decide to study math or engineering because they are great at analytical thinking, but they say, "This engineering firm wants to offer me $85K a year to start right out of college with my BS in Civil Engineering or $115K a year with my BS in Electrical Engineering. Why would I want to teach math and engineering concepts to High School or Tech School students for $40K or even $50K a year?

Watching the seated panel, I do have to point out the obvious. The panel consists of 6 people, three black men, one black woman, a white woman and a white man. Interesting that the Federal Assistant District Attorney and the Judge are both White. So, is Society racially biased? Detroit has about 639,000 people, with about 65% Non Hispanic White and 23% Black/African American. One would think that more white people would be present on the panel. But more interestingly, and this is not against the panel members, but maybe the way we appoint or elect our government officials or even educate our youth to be eligible for such offices, influences the process and the outcome is that the White minority members of the panel have the most societal power. Yes there is a Black Police Chief and that is certainly helpful. But he is after all an administrative functionary. It's the patrol officers that need to be (or do they) reflective of the community they are assigned to? Will Black patrol officers be better or worse for predominantly poor, black neighborhoods? Would Black, and Female officers be more successful at patrolling and interacting with the predominantly Black neighborhoods that are typically headed by single, black mothers. Can a White Judge really administer justice especially when he has to adhere to some sentencing algorithm produced by a software company that employs white software engineers that have as a client the White dominated State Legislature and the committee's that translate the laws into the operations parameters for the software engineers to design? Just to use the same issue in Health Care. Can a White Male doctor treating a Black, female expectant mother, really appreciate the needs of her situation? Does he even care, or is she just another Medicaid client that he pushes through the office as fast as can be scheduled? I argue that it's the privatization of Health care that has turned Patients into Sales Opportunities. And likewise in the Privatization of Corrections, do inmates become simply their case numbers or ID number? If we try to make the two systems as streamlined and efficient as possible are people becoming mere statistics? Becoming is probably already Became and will remain mere statistics? That's the problem with Business. Everything has to be converted to a Spreadsheet entry and we are no longer human.

Funding programs or jails. That is a great point. Heading off trouble before it starts. And also the point he made, being a young teenage offender, marked him for life as a felon. That is basically saying he is sentenced to a lifetime of ostracization even while he is "free" from incarceration. What kid at 14 thinks about the ramifications of his actions? Yet he served his Boot Camp penalty, but still has the mark. Can he apply for a civil service job with the City of Detroit? Can he become a Cop? Or maybe a Teacher? You would say possibly, "Hell No!", we don't want his kind with a badge and a gun or teaching our children> But that is probably the best person to actually teach inner city youth either as a Teacher or a local Patrol Officer. Because he identifies with the people, and has made the mistakes and can impart some wisdom now that he didn't have then when he was 14.

Yes, Sentencing Guidelines tell the Judges. That phrase is getting more scrutiny. Did you know that in some jurisdictions, the Judges no longer use their knowledge of the laws to make decisions and to impose judgements? They use an algorithm. What is that? That's software loaded on a computer system in the courts and the Judge has his terminal (Keyboard and screen) at his stand. It's like going to the doctor and he asks you questions based not on his own training and education and experience, but on the computer laptop sitting on his lap or table that he asks questions from and loads the answers to into the interactive software to obtain a diagnosis and provide possible modes of treatment> So, who are the Judges and Doctors in corporate America? Some committee or group of software engineers somewhere back in Microsoft or Apple or Facebook? Some Artificial Intelligence algorithm that was designed a year ago, and now internally synthesizes its' own software updates and loads them based on some internal criteria that the Humans don't even know about or understand? Is the Corporate Health care and Health Insurance industry effecting Doctors diagnosis and treatment protocols? Are State or Federal Prison systems corporations imputing reference or bias into the sentencing models? You wonder. There was a Black graduate student at Harvard that found that all facial recognition software (designed by white, male, software engineers) was unable to identify people of color, regardless of gender, it simply couldn't identify or recognize Black People by facial constructs. Yes, Sentencing Guidelines, that makes me worry. Why did the Judge bother to go to Law School and get his or hers Juris Doctorate? Could a lowly (far less paid) Paralegal simply sit in court and basically do data entry and come up with judgements and sentencing? It would save time and money. Scary!

But that beautiful recitation from the D.I is inspiring, and yet inspiration can lead to interpretation and manipulation. There was and is a fringe element(s) that believes the US citizenry has the right to not only vote, but to protest, and yes even engage in public actions that border on insurrection in order to stop the certification of an election that was fraudulent and to restore the Presidency to their "rightful" candidate. Now, were they right? We all know that I am referring to the January 6th march on the US Capitol building with intent to break into the building and "arrest" the members of the Senate, and Congress from Certifying the 2020 National Election for President and Vice President. Ironically, it was the "losing" Vice President that did his Constitutional duty by presiding over the certification of the election that was to put him out of office in the coming term. Talk about not bending to a special interest or a self interest. That's falling on the sword. And yet we vilify him. Why? ' Did he not swear an oath to Preserve, Protect, and Defend the Constitution of the US from all enemies, foreign and domestic? And do Oaths matter? Or for that matter, the Constitution itself? Oaths are simply words spoken. And the Constitution words put to paper, that can be easily shredded or burned. Or the Bible, or the Koran or the Torah, the Bhagavad Gita, or the Magna Carta. These are documents. They are treaties on thought and morality and social responsibility and the place of man among Men. Are they just as easily defamed and destroyed? I worry that right or wrong, we are forgetting our culture, our deepest thoughts and meaning that make us Human, beyond simply a species called Homo sapiens. Are we more than another animal on it's path to extinction?

Oh, and I forgot Guantanamo Bay. That tiny piece of Cuba that the US holds a lease for and now it's still essentially a US intelligence Black Site (except everyone knows about it). where suspected members of Al Qaida were held for months, years or decades without ever being charged or prosecuted. We essentially created the non-lethal example of extrajudicial executions, except we sort of sentenced people to life in prison without ever even charging or prosecuting by criminal or military tribunals. That's a whole other level of state sponsored break down of the Rule of Law. How the US or China or Saudi Arabia or many Latin America countries can simply detain someone for months or years and NEVER even charge them or try them in court and then still claim to be a country that values, respects, and upholds the Rule of Law, is mystifying.

After you read my comments below (if you do), then comes the next big question-Racism. And I am not pointing a finger just at the US. But I have another very potent example especially now in the light of the recent flare up of hostilities (October, 2023). That other example of racial or ethnic bias in incarceration is the state of Israel which many in the "Liberal Media or Academia or even urban cities" would call an apartheid state. So, America and Israel and previously South Africa seem to be very racially biased. One area I forgot to mention is the disparity of racial representation in both law enforcement and corrections. In America, White cops and C.O.'s supervising Black and Latino men predominantly. In the case of Israel, Jewish Israeli's (IDF and their Mossad) conducting a very strong campaign against Muslim and yes (Christian and Jewish) Arabs in Palestine. Are we predisposing minorities from becoming eligible to serve because of their higher enforcement and conviction rates? Maybe that's why an Inner City police force is all white is because most of the Black or Latino men already have criminal records since they were 14 and members of local gangs? But the two cases seem to be using race to support Nationalism. As a prominent Jewish critique of Israel (Rabbi Dovid Weiss) says, Israel is illegal and immoral. He said that the Jews were exiled and should be living in exile throughout the other nations of the world in order to learn their humility and humanity and to practice and teach the Torah and serve God. Not make a Zionist Nationalist Israel that steals Arab lands and Kills Arab people and destroys Palestine. So, that leads me to believe that it's racism that is a tool to subjugate a minority and to build a national identity that provides all the benefits and successes to the dominant race. I also want to suggest the Balkans too. We are still seeing the Serb/Bosnian Croat and Bosnian Muslim hostilities over borders and economic benefits ever since the break down of Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union.

So I have watched part 1 and most of part 2 including most of the Media's influence on crime. But I have some thoughts. First this incarceration addiction is not exclusively an American issue, but it seems to be an issue where the rule of law is either broken or missing. One concept we have in America is legal representation, and the cost of obtaining competent legal council. Another is aggressive law enforcement in pursuing a confession by threat or harassment. So, poor people can't afford a private attorney, and the public defenders will NOT try a case. They will try to Plea Bargain it down to keep the docket moving. That supports the revolving door of punishment. On the issue of aggressive law enforcement, the common understanding in any interrogation process that extorts a confession by many means does border way past intimidation and becomes torture. Why? When you apprehend someone, you first limit their freedom, hand cuffs and sitting in the squad car for minutes or even hours. Then they go to holding and not allowed any food or communication. The process become more aggressive and hostile in the interrogation where again, freedom is being stripped, no food or rest and even making a person wait to relieve themselves. Leaving them cuffed to a table, and coming back hours later to continue the interrogation. With any form of coercive intimidation or use of force to obtain a confession, eventually (sooner or later) the detainee will lose hope and simply say whatever the interrogator(s) want to hear to make the intimidation /torture stop. This is proven in covert forces like spook operations, black sites, foreign prisons. You may remember Abu Ghraib prison in Bagdad, where Iraqi detainees were subject to insane amounts of hostility and depravation in order to elicit some actionable intelligence against the insurgency.. One the issue of sentencing, using the two criteria since the Bush Era, of quantity of substance in the trafficker's possession and his/hers criminal history. Is it worse to be trafficking 200 pounds of marijuana, or 2 pounds of Fentanyl? Is it worse to be caught 19 times selling pieces of meth on the street corner, or caught manufacturing 30 kilograms of meth in your trailer (out in the Breaking Bad Desert)? And of course that makes me ask: Is it bad to pay a high school chemistry teacher $45K a year and then have him bankrupt himself in his cancer treatment, or put him away for life for cooking $600,000 worth of meth in order to set up his family for their life after he dies. You laugh, but that TV show did ask an important societal question.

Before I started to listen to this presentation, I thought I would comment on my attitudinal bias and then see how my attitude has changed since. My belief is that incarceration is a choice of how we as society spends it's money in dealing with social problems. It is an expensive and destructive way to marginalize those that are guilty of crimes. I also believe society has other tools to deal with crime. I believe that incarceration is the end tool but it is over-relied upon. It's like a surgery that is required when a cancer is detected too late. But another approach could be to check a patients' (society) health early and try to catch the cancer early and treat it with less invasive and expensive interventions. Those early treatments include better infant and prenatal care, early childhood education such as daycare for working single moms, better primary and secondary education and even financial support by the government for post-secondary college and graduate university education. Also I would add state sponsored Health Care as the cost of health care is prohibitive in America. Then I would argue for a livable working minimum wage that actually allows a person to support themselves, rather than create a subsistence culture. Finally retirement systems, should be in place to adequately safeguard people that worked their lives in America and participated in providing value and economic stability for themselves and their community. My concern why we support Incarceration in America is because America has been and is a very competitive and biased society. I could argue that competition is to the extent of being ruthless and bias to the extent of being sexist and racist. That is open as well as my other comments for debate. Now I am going to watch the program.
