The fact that the wolf is leg deep in the water and is still able to dodge the moose’s attacks really shows how agile they are, amazing fight from both of them.

I wonder if the drone affected the way either animal reacted to the situation. These drones are not that quiet, especially for these close angles. I don't approve of these human interventions.

This is rare footage, the wolf must have been starving to even try this. Because even on land he would have had a hard time with the moose. Because one well placed stomp from the moose would have, at least broken the wolf's back.

It appears the wolf turned off the chase due to the noise of the drone. Nevertheless good on the moose for surviving!

Had that Moose been carrying a Glock, it wouldn’t have run into that huge mess. But Canada has stupid gun control laws banning pistols.

Although amazing to see, I find myself questioning the ethics of using a drone like this. Both the wolf and the moose can be seen watching the drone which looked to be flying fairly close at times and in some instances actually trying to get ahead of the wolf whilst it was pursuing the moose. In fact at the end when the wolf gave up the pursuit it certainly looked as if the noise of the drone was disturbing it. I dont know how many individuals were in the pack as we only see two which suggests either two animals or three if the two seen together were separate from the wolf seen in the water. Did the drone prevent the other wolf/wolves from assisting the one in the water? Hard to tell. No getting away from the fact that your video showed the incredible bravery of the wolf going up against an animal two or three times it size, equipped with a lethal set of hooves and in a medium which could drown both.

All of you congratulating the drone pilot for capturing this should also be aware that the drone pilot interfered with the interaction between the wolf in this moose. The drone came too close to the wolf and ended up distracting the wolf and causing the wolf to break off the chase. The drone pilot in that production company should be fine severely at a minimum for interfering with nature in this manner. The wolf ended up becoming too concerned about the drone getting too close to it and it broke off the pursuit and left the lake. Not cool! Wolves have to feed their pups and their families as well and that's the law of nature so the drone pilot should not have interfered.

That wolf was amazingly persistent and must have been starving to death to expend that much energy to try and take down a grown cow moose! Awesome footage. THANKS!
