Great review. What’s your opinion on which is better between this and the Z10? I love the cold brew features and overall design of the Z10 especially in midnight blue. Also the Z10 coming out in 2021 originally is worrisome. This one while not as pretty, offers a lot of great functionality with the twin grinders and slightly cheaper than the z10. The sweet foam is whatever to me, but still nice. That was long but any opinions on which is better?

Which version is it? Because in Europe there's only 3 generations EA, EB, EC !? Is this the ED?

This direction is as terrible as the manual. I select the bean. It doesn’t ask me to empty the tray. Nothing at all. I press the cup to see if that was missing in the direction, and it made me a cup of coffee.

Love my E8 Except for the $20 a month filter cost! Be prepared for this additional cost! Jura has not allowed different companies to manufacture the filter this has allowed the to increase the cost $5 per filter since I purchased the coffee maker.

If you’re going to do a tutorial you should complete it fully. You never mention the pressing the bean button to start the process or that it’s going to take 40 minutes. I watched this crap 5 times trying to figure out why I couldn’t get it to start.

Great comparison! I'm deciding between the E8 and S8 now as my old F7 (probably 15 years old) is dying. Probably a stupid question, but is there a button on either for just a plain "coffee"? Or is that essentially what an americano is? My F7 seems to make regular coffee like the S8 made the americano you showed, and I'm hoping to not have a shot of espresso followed by separate hot water, like the E8.

What about the leftover cleaning solution in the tube. Do you need to rinse this tube after? Also the manual is confusing as well as their customer service. The woman on phone told me I need to clean out the whole milk system parts. The manual states I think that only if you have issues do you take them apart and clean the parts. So what is it? Do I just do what you show in the video and maybe give the tube a rinse when done and only take apart the milk system if an issue arises. Thanks

Just what I needed to hear. I’m Looking to buy an espresso machine. I’ve been using the pod for the last few years and watching your video, it makes more sense to go with the grind method. My only issue now is , do I want to spend $3,000.00+ for the machine I truly want - Lalit Bianca double boiler or Rocket or go with a lesser brand like a Breville? I love the way the Bianca is constructed …. beautifully made. It takes a little more time and effort to make the drink than the push button brand; but I don’t mind that. Do I go with a simple espresso machine that comes with a simple grinder -or- do I go with a more traditional more pricey machine and buy a separate grinder ?
