Hi Simon. I can see that your gennaker halyard runs to the back. I sail my 2000 often alone and I need such a setup as well. What do I need to do? Hope you can help.

I dont understand, I am seeing all these videos on role tacking but none of them are getting it right. Some are sort of getting the first half almost ok but none are doing the second half?!!!

What do you mean? The tacks were ok. They seemed to be going pretty fast out of the tack but the entry could’ve been slower (less rudder) and a bit more roll.

Your jib cleats look a much higher angle than the old Laser 2000 fitting. Do you think they are as its difficult to tell from the video. Is it possible to replace them for the newer spec on older boats?
