I remember watching this as a teenager when it aired live, blown away at the time to see an indie artist being given such a massive platform.

To me this is the true meaning of the phrase “I’m blown away” Just pure silence and everyone soaking up the talent in front of them and just basically saying “wow” without even saying it but showing it on their faces

Oh man. The first time I heard this song years ago it hit right into my secret pains, past and current struggles, worst memories I tried to escape and hide from - like we all do. It was cathartic, I couldn't do anything but sit in a chair and cry. That's what the greatest music does to you: it disarms you and leaves you defenceless like a baby. After all those years of discovering tons of music I still believe Elliott to be the greatest singer-songwriter in history. Thank you for running this channel and doing what you do. People like you keep Elliott's spirit alive. I love knowing there are more kindred-spirited souls who adore Elliott's music as much as I do.
