@@sicherei first saw this plane in movie when I was a kid. The movie was called "The Iron Maiden ". It was also around this time that I caught the odd flash Gordon serial on Saturday mornings, and I liked them, despite the cheesy acting. The point is, this plane always struck me as looking like something that was also out of flash Gordon. So its far from ugly, but a design classic.

@mareky1234 Know the film well. The 'plane, car and traction engines were the stars of the film and the Victor would have been a unique airliner with a nuclear capability !!
