This is one of the best methods I've see in a video here. Thank you so much.

I understand all of this. But I'd like to give just a matted print, so I want to "close" it up. Do I just use double-sided acid free-tape on the bottom to attach the top and bottom together?

I purchased some plastic tubing at the local hardware store, and I cut off pieces to cover the sharp ends of the wire after they are twisted. Just remember to put the little plastic tube pieces on the wire before you wind it around the strap hangers.

I purchased one of these Neilsen frames from Habitat For Humanity for $10. This to fit an odd size picture…where frames on line were up to $300+ 😳 Thank you for the clear details on how to assemble (in my case to unassemble).

How many times can these pins be bent forwards and backwards before breaking?
@starrystarrynight98222 жыл бұрын
Depends on the pins' thickness etc.

Why do employees at framing stores talk to me like I'm some sort of idiot? This isn't rocket science and framing stores answer me like it's all hidden in some kind of hidden vault! There's NO mystery here.

Are you the person who complains about price and says "It's just four pieces of wood! How difficult can it be?"

I have put several of these frames together in the past, but recently arrived home with all the parts for a new project and realized that I had only a vague idea of what to do with all the pieces. Found you tutorial quickly, and it was just what I needed as a refresher! Watched all the way through up to attaching the hooks for the wire. Came back one more time to review the final step and proudly completed my project! Thanks so much!!!!

Where can you get the pieces that go into the frame - in-between the metal rails - to then mount on a wall? Michael's doesn't carry them. TIA.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am new at painting abstracts, but I paint them on 1/8" hardboard. I love the idea of metal frames, but I searched everywhere online and no one does it. I think anything is possible. My size is 32x48~~~I know I can cradle them, but would rather have a sturdy frame, metal or wood. My board does not warp, I lay it flat to dry on the floor. So I'm hoping you have something for me. Thank you so much for your time!!
