Great to see you back! I’ve been looking for a compact for my wife and daughter as well and that looks really interesting. I usually prefer Berettas to Benelli but I don’t think they make a compact semi auto.

I think you’ll be very impressed with this. It is such a wonderful Shotgun. The action needs very little maintenance or cleaning. I did put over 5000 rounds through mine without fail, as I was doing my own stress test so to speak. The one thing that I did not do, however, was clean my choke. Try to do that periodically make sure you clean and lube the threads up really well. After 5000 rounds, mine were pretty rusty, I felt really bad. But the manufacturer did say it required no maintenance for 5000 rounds. I believe you’re really gonna like this gun.

I asked my local gun store if they could get one for me because the importer Korth brings them into Canada and I was disappointed to hear that they no longer import them because of reliability issues. They recommended to look at either Benelli or Franchi instead. Any issues with yours?
@elite-sportshootingАй бұрын
Hey, I had no issues with mine. I put 250 rounds through it, took it apart and you couldn’t even tell that it was used. It’s pretty light I do like the oversize controls. The beautiful part about the oversized bolt release is it doubles as a way to unload as well. You would push it to release the bolt, but then you grab the edges of the bolt release pull it gently outward from the receiver and unload your shotgun from the magazine tube. It is light, which means there’s a little bit more felt recording. I rigged up a shoulder pad for my wife. She loves it. I will probably upgrade her to a gas gun soon. It is disappointing that they didn’t bring them in anymore due to reliability issues. Benelli and Franchi are great, but they are also more money. I have had no issues with mine. A few more things to add was when I purchased mine I got a really nice case and five flush mounted chokes. Which is uncommon these days unless you’re paying a lot more. Something to think about.

While I do a complete break down and clean after every shoot I've found my Benellis to be very clean as in minimal blowback of smoke and unburned powder in the chamber and bolt carrier. I'm pleased that this makes clean-up in the field just a matter of running a snake with a rag of cleaner followed by a rag of gun oil. As to the video: Good thing that the pin issue was a non-issue; we're all only human, after all.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply! Ive been circling the drain on what to pick for almost a year, finally pulling the trigger (so to speak ) on the gun and hunting safety course so I can get the permit. I originally wanted a tactical Mossberg of some sort - probably a maverick.I was looking at a Churchill with a pistol grip and folding stock because it had a look I liked but from what I’ve read you have to be careful with Turkish imports - that and it still seemed a bit pricy once I had factored in the cost the training, permits, sling, ammo and other accessories. Right now the best deal around seems to be the vanilla 320 for $250 cad before tax. The maverick is sitting at 329 and the Churchill I was sizing up is 399. The Stevens just makes more sense I think.
