To me , the message is society is built all wrong & most ppl that are dangerous are the ones that follow the rules we have that don't all actually work!!!! Just because u have mental issues doesn't mean the nurses watching over u & treating u like a child don't have worse mental issues than u do !!! Nurse ratchet is the perfect example

This book is good, but it's paced poorly for me. Characters are good but the beginning is too long meaning it doesn't give itself time to really explore the situation.

In addition to the aforementioned points, this book showcases Baba's exemplary embodiment of dignity. I mean, this is a book about the human dignity ❤👍, the dignity that he maintains everywhere and always - in his homeland, during the hard journey, when confronted with the Russian occupant, and in emigration, which is a completely different world and it is not easy for him to get used to it. My great respect to the author.

Yes! It’s a great book which is why many schools have selected it as a text for English classes to analyse. Many students like to watch videos breaking down the various aspects of a novel before starting their essay. Anything that assists students to understand a text is valuable in my opinion. Hope you’re doing well!

@@johnpaulandaquig691 yes. Hassan is an angel like character. Without him the novel will not be interesting. I think this world doesn't deserve children like Hassan. Because they will be exploited. Now a days children with values and loyalty is declining.
