Would be great if Robert and Aaron would finally release Song of the Cicada for digital purchase such on through AppleTV, Amazon etc or on streaming sites. It has been over a year since the release now. As a close friend of Dale, I'm happy for the success at film festivals but sadly many interested in the movie still can't view. Obviously international digital and dvd release would also generate royalty revenue.

What a good movie! I could easily re-watch it 121K times! My favourite scene was the one where the hospital patient sees his 10-year-old daughter for the first time in years and apologises to her for not having been with her.

It was a relatively small role but she was an absolutely essential part of the movie, in the shadow of the formidable Nurse Ratched. She has that illusive quality that your eyes are drawn to her character.

As an actor I am fed up with anyone who is making a movie wants to hear how great the script is the lines everything is magnificent. I’m nice and respectful but if they want an actor here I am but if they want an ego pacifier I’m taking a hike. And I’m glad to hear Dean wasn’t going to accept being treated with disrespect. Self honor they want you to leave at the door.

I use to open up to everyone until I realized later in life that a lot of people will take it the wrong way like I’m bragging or lying ect. So now I am very protective and I don’t care to talk with anyone because there’s nothing of interest. Jimmy knew this at a younger age and needed to in order to sir the sales away from the sharks.
