I live in Bradenton so I know exactly where you're fishin'. By the hospital. Just around the bend from you on Riverwalk there's a small fishing pier. Fishing at night there is amazing. I've caught monsters off that pier including a huge gar! 😊

Yes he was a big one and the one I lost in the dark was just as big. Got a new Gopro now. No excuse on camera messing up. It was a Blacktip shark I could see when he turned sideways. Fun day, thanks for your support Gary. Peace.

I live here in Bradenton and instantly recognized the place you're fishin'. It's called Wares Creek. It feeds into the Manatee River. I caught my very first snook there when I was just 10 years old. 😊

@SilvermanAdventuresFishing Just thought you would want to know that you shouldn't eat any fish you catch in Wares Creek. It's had several sewage spills in the past because it runs right by Bradenton's sewage treatment plant. At low tide you can really smell it. Catch and release only, my friend.

I was also kayak fishing in Palma Sola bay. Early morning in the dark. Saw a couple of manatees and I though I would say HI. Turned out to be a herd of about 30. They got spooked in about 2' of water with me on top of them. I was hanging on tight. Thanks for the memories.
