Don't waste your money on Smittybilt. My x20 gen 3 stopped working after a couple iterations. The parts are on backorder with no date available. I am a fool for buying this winch, don't be like me.

I got this installed but it came with a part called out on parts list,#13, limit arm bumper but there is no step in the directions showing how and where to install it. Email Smittybilt over 2 weeks ago and no response?

I got this for a 2014 jku all went pretty smooth until running the wires. I tried every way I can think ant the closes I get is 2 feet short. Is it possible they sent me one for a 2 door?

This isn't a gen 1 xj. The Gen 1 xj unibody has a factory winch mount that was removed in 97.

No video on KZbin actually shows the winch In action. Sure you see it going up the side of the building but we do not do that. In a week we will be posting a video of it in action out in the snow and in the mud in the summer time.
