I made a promise to the Lord over 3 years ago to not shave, until something prophetic that He showed me comes to pass. So I have a big old beard myself. They're not really a thing with us gen xers. I don't generally like looking at them. But occasionally it's a good look for some guys, even in my biased opinion. It's not a good look for me though! I truly look forward to this prophecy coming to pass so I can shave this beard. I'm in my early 50s and I have literally never had a beard until now. God bless friend! 🙏

Super inflated prices on new homes that were built with the cheapest materials Mega corporations like Blackrock that are buying millions of homes and price gouging for rent. Why is a 200k house being rented out for 3k or 4k a montg here in Texas.

I had a customers house this year I worked on, there was a "leak" we tried finding it nothing came back 2 weeks later there's another "leak" turns out that leak was actually a pipe rubbing against a air vent and everytime either the shower came on or toilet flush or sink all the water would go down the air vent into the basement, 50 years of metal fatigue 😂

Oh man, that’s crazy. Definitely a good story

It's a TRUMP town! Like the robots of Pennsylvania not far away, they have cold, heartless attitudes toward anyone and anything they preceive as liberal. You get the feeling they value the threat of violence to keep "things in order." Conversations sound fake, like they are mindlessly repeating things from the right wing radio conservative talk hosts. Daily humor and social interaction is almost always done with an endless underlying stream of cynicism. As a result most of the youth there act listless, punctured by unpredictable outbursts of violence. I can't imagine how a regular, non robotic, school teacher would survive there. The ridiculously long beards are simply sick, they are mocking the amish, not flattering them!

Military veterans will *usually* leave the apartments spotless. We were trained and had to be *"signed off"* by an inspector if we lived in base housing and were going to move. Every inch of the place, including under the fridge and the inside the oven, dust on window trim, behind the toilet, shower stalls, everything had to be immaculate and all picture hanging nail holes in the walls had to be "repaired." (We'd cheat and use white toothpaste!) otherwise, we were not permitted to move and were written up. I never had any issues so I'm not sure if further consequences were imposed.
@ChrisThompsonRealEstate3 ай бұрын
I would love a tenant like you. I’ve had 50/50 luck with active duty. No middle ground. Either spotless or a hot mess. I️ used toothpaste in college a few times, haha.

@@ChrisThompsonRealEstateWell thank you for that 🙂 You seem like a reasonable landlord- someone I would have appreciated when I was a renter. My first civilian landlord lowered the rent to entice my spouse and me to rent from her. Long story short, we decided to move after only a year living in the upstairs apartment of the house she also lived in because she was the most inconsiderate, fuss pot, nosey, landlord you could imagine! Her name was Geneva, and she would vacuum her house for literally hours, *every day!* The constant noise and vibration nearly drove us to drink! 🤣 Then, she'd call us up to inform us that *our windows were not opened "EVENLY"* on all visible sides of our apartment, which she insisted made the entire house look bad from the perspective of people driving by! 🤣 After we gave her notice of our intent not to renew the lease, she would bring "applicants" to view our apartment with absolutely *NO* warning! And, when a minority couple showed interest in the apartment, she flat out refused to rent to them, admitting it was only bc they were a minority! 🤯 In NYS, it was actually LEGAL (at least in the early 1990s) to discriminate if the house had 3 or fewer units to rent *AND* the owner resided in the building. Isn't that insane??? Yeah, she was a real piece of work! Anyway, we left the apartment spotless when we did move, but, that experience convinced me to buy my own home as soon as possible. Being in a rental agreement is binding on both sides and needs to be respected. But, sometimes, lol, that inner voice just wants to push you into doing something totally against your own character. 🤣

@@rattlecat5968 Holy Buckets! That landlord sounds like a real gem… 😂😂😂. I’m still crying from laughing over the windows. Opened uneven, haha. That might be the best one yet. I’m glad to hear you were able to get out mostly unscathed and got to realize the American Dream of home ownership!
