This is exactly what happened to mine too, he died 3 hours ago. We think it was a seizure or something epileptic related. What makes it even more sad is that his wife (our first love bird) died 8 days ago after being ill for 6 days😢❤ I’m so sorry this also happed to your lovebird❤

I know this video is old but thank you for keeping this up. My baby (sun conure) did exactly this today and it’s freaked me out so bad. I didn’t know birds could have seizures 😢 he’s ok now but he looks empty like a zombie. What do I do?

My younger cockatiel Phoebus make sounds like fanfare with whistling whenever someone is coming, and we never tell him. When I come back from doing errands and when a person that visits leaves, he still whistles fanfare. It's so funny when he does that. My older cockatiel, Tweedy, he loves to whistle a melody when I come back from being away for too long, and also when I am doing things around the house. He gives off the meaning of whistle while you work. 😂

This happened to my budgie Sparky when he had a seizure. Luckily, he recovered very quickly and is doing great

it had a seizure, probably kidney failure, my budgie dies in a similar way.

Today i found a little Sparrowhawk next to my house it was a cold and rainy day ans je was standing on the side of the road ( in a big city ) . It was heartbreaking to see her freazing to death. So i took her to my house to dry her keep her warm and safe. I brough her to my room in a little cat cage and dry her out with a mini hot fan but not to close. She didn't bit or scream or anything she was very calm even with the fan on. Seeing that she was sleepy i grabed her into my arm . That was a really peaceful moment but then she just started seizing and i didn't know what to do ! I knew it was a seizer i thought that maybe if i pet her she would not panicking and i just wait the end of the seizure. It last for maybe 2/3min . And i think that was to much for her . Her Heart stopped and she died so quickly into my hand. I'm sorry but i never saw an animal died in front of me. That was the worst thing i witnessed. I couldn't do anything just watching her struggle and passed away. I had her like less that an hour but know i'm having a hard time . I don't know if i did something wrong or what. Again i'm really sorry about this comment. I did call a vet went i took her and i was supposed to wait for him to calling me back and bring her to the vet but she died before so i bring her corps to the vet instead. So thank you for reading so far and i don't have more to say i'm just heartbroken about what happened
