I personally think they didn't go far enough with the match making, since people with 50 stars are still pretty clueless. The reason for this update is very clearly the same reason as to why they've kept fireballs as cheap as they have and why generators in solos and doubles have become so fast too; to be noob friendly. Obviously, this update seems kind of late now, though.

Mansley can thank the fact he's in a lighthearted family friendly animated movie for not getting shot the moment he ordered that missile strike. Three minutes after the Giant sacrifices himself? At least one soldier is turning him into Swiss cheese and no one would convict.

I doubt Mansley even saw the inside of a court room. He probably was taken somewhere out of the way, executed by firing squad, and then un-personed for not only the crime of treason, but for being a complete liability.
