@@saraelorza6017 Good day. I purchased mine at Lowe’s in western Montana. I believe most big-box stores have Sunjoy or could order for you. I was impressed with the kit. Please read my description of this build, it may be beneficial to you. Thanks for asking. Dave.

I'm in Glacier National Park right now. I drove Going-to-the-Sun Road round-trip today and two days ago. The views are spectacular, but the road is not for the faint of heart.

Thanks for the memories of this area. My husband and I got engaged on Submarine Rock 7 years ago. It was our last day in Sedona/leaving Sedona and he suggested I choose the trail so I was not expecting a proposal that day (I though the man likes to plan out the engagement spot and I also just assumed he would wait until we got back to our home country). It was the height of Summer in July and we had a picnic of strawberries in a thunderstorm. So epic! Very dramatic! And of course he timed his proposal between Pink Jeep arrivals.

@@davidegg22 I hope we can return to Sedona with our children one day. It's such an other-worldly place and the terrain is so different to where we normally hike.

Sorry, but I do not have formal plans for this DIY project. The sketch was just a rough draft of what was in my head before I jumped into the project. Maybe the description will fill in some gaps for you. Thanks for viewing and asking. Dave. Description: I fashioned this simple DIY supplemental air filtration system using scrap wood and an old furnace fan. I chose a 24"x24" platform (4 square feet of floor space) with 4x4 corners. The beefy corner posts gave the structure great support. I chose a common 20"x20"x1" filter available at most outlets. You may choose from many different filters depending upon how small particles you want to capture. Do not use the most inexpensive filters since they will not filter the small dust particles. The top of the unit is not fastened to the corner posts but does contain a half-inch lip that sits over the posts. The weight of the top and the vacuum that the unit produces works quite well. Just lift off the top up to change the three filters. I wanted simple, simple, simple and maximum air flow. I think I achieved these goals. My furnace fan had three speeds, but I wired it to the slowest speed. I diffused the exhaust air up so I would not disturb any sawdust on the floor. The unit runs quiet and definitely does the job! This is a supplement to my woodshop tool dust collector system.

Without narration, it is almost impossible to understand what is being shown. If it is indeed a ghost town, who maintains it and who assures no one walks off with the old antique stuff, for example.

What is being shown is one of the roads to the ghost town of Garnet, just like the title says. This is not a documentary on the town itself. Sorry to disappoint but other videos document the town quite nicely. Not much can be said about the road. The description of this video may answer some of your questions. Please see below. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Dave. Reprint of the description of this video: Road to Garnet - I-90 Route to a Montana Ghost Town in 4K - near Missoula, Montana MT. *** Warning - Update September 2023 *** The last mile of this road is nearly impassable for most vehicles due to road washouts and deep-cut ruts caused by rushing water. Cave Gulch Road is recommended if you travel from I90. Follow the signs just after Beartown. Four-wheel drive vehicles can use this route but be sure you are comfortable driving one-lane mountain roads and be prepared to backup when meeting another vehicle. Fall/winter/spring can produce snow and ice on these mountain roads and can be extremely treacherous. No cell service is available on this road so be aware before traveling. As you can see, the upper stretches of this road cannot accommodate trailers or motorhomes. ____________ High in the mountains of western Montana you will find a REAL ghost town, Garnet, one of Montana’s best preserved and least visited. Garnet was started in 1895 when gold was discovered. I have been visiting Garnet since 1972 during the start of the stabilization/preservation movement. The elevation starts at 3,900 feet and climbs to 5,900 feet. This I-90 route up Bear Gulch was the only road into Garnet until recently. China Grade towards the top was the worst part of the 10-mile trip, much narrower and rockier than what you see now. Even so, be extra careful on this stretch. Garnet thrived with over 1,200 miners and their families. Garnet had four hotels, four stores, two barbershops, a butcher shop, a doctor’s office, laundry facilities, and thirteen saloons. It even had a stagecoach service! After a few years the gold ran out and so did the population. It dwindled down to 150 people by 1905. In 1912 a fire wiped out half of the commercial buildings and was never rebuilt. What you see today are efforts of stabilization, preservation, and restoration from many volunteers who are dedicated to helping preserve Montana’s rich mining history. Congratulations to each and every one of you! Please see www.garnetghosttown.net/ for more information. This sequence was captured in June, 2020 with a GoPro Hero8 camera and edited with Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve. Thanks for the comment. We certainly have enjoyed the area since 1981, our little heaven on earth. We stayed at the Lakeside in 1983 and just had a great meal there a couple of weeks ago during the annual Huckleberry Festival. Each year we boat over for a soft-serve ice cream cone, a family tradition. Thanks again for commenting. Dave.
