I have an old wood grain GE mini fridge from this place, Looks identical to the one in one of your pictures on Flickr. No idea if it is the same one, or just the same model, but it says Milner Inn on the back of it, and it has some sort of anti-theft device on it. No idea how or why but it ended up at the cause for paws thrift shop around 5 or 6 years ago. It is a late 80s model, I can only imagine the things it has seen in it's day.

I was listening to LMPD 4/5 at the time, but not LFD. My elderly father lives 1/2 mile from Payne on Frankfort. He called me scared not knowing what happened before I even heard it on the scanner. And today's collapse downtown trapping a worker, OSHA might just need to set up headquarters in Louisville!

@ i listen to LMPD occasionally but i stick to fire because neither fire scanner has the 15 minute delay like LMPD so you get info quicker and i just prefer listening to fire anyway. There was a working warehouse fire this morning on the suburban channels on jennings lane. They’re staying super busy.

@kaminky228 yeah I understand the delay implemented for their safety, but as a citizen that likes to be proactive against crime I can't tell you how many times I would see a vehicle or subject they were looking for and call it in. Can't really do that anymore. :/ I'm obsessed with the FD helmet cam videos on YT so I really should start listening to the fire channels.
