Wow, this is great because you can see he was still in the process of writing A Firmer Hand at the time. That verse 1:09 "I've seen my shame reflected in Protestant glass, I've paid my respects to the snakes in the grass" was repurposed for Men Like Wire later on, the "All Things Must Pass" line is a bit different, I believe.

This was one of my favourite gigs in 30+ years of attending. And I have NEVER been more surprised than by that ending. Absolutely incredible. Hopefully somebody captured it.

@@chriswatt9556 It was so incredible. Only my second ever gig at the Barras but I feel so fortunate to have witnessed such a sensational show. I’ve seen Hamish 7 times in the past 12 months but this was just on another level to the previous six I had seen. He and the band are exceptional. 🥰🥰

Such a grand gig - we travelled up from south of the border to see The Hawk in his natural habitat. Preordered the new album with the expectation of hearing it before the gig; mildly frustrating to have it delayed but we had a great time nontheless. Thanks for posting, al hail Monsieur H!
