Every child with an elderly parent should watch this: no one wants to age and no one wants to be a burden. No one intention wants to have their children look after them. As you age often the world gets smaller and smaller and yes you resent not being able to just ‘go out’. Don’t ever resent your parents ending like this, even if their attitude sometimes can be less than pleasant. Often there’s much going on that you’ll never know. Just smile and make sure their final years are as pleasant as possible and that they don’t feel a burden to you. And always remember: it’s inevitable that one day it will be your own turn to sit in a room waiting for a visitor…..

Only 750 views. Why. This is so touching and is what life often becomes as it ends. Children more interested in themselves or what they can inherit, old people often lonely and bitter at aging retreating into childhood.
