probably the best review of a board I've seen loved your work, how would you say it compares to the dervish sama or tan tien if you've ridden them? I have a dervish sama that needs to be replaced from heavy use that I absolutely loved but if this rides similarly I would enjoy the slight down size

What a great review. Based on this i will buy the switchblade 40. im an older man, a beginner so want a stable safe deck that i can learn to slide. it sounds like this is the one . Cheers.

@@mpix00 I'm loving it mpix00!!! trying to pumping although never had a skateboard before, almost there :) On the otherside, one day tried to goes without protection, then loose confidence and fall a little hard. Nothing broken but well, took 2 to 3 week to recovery lol. I recomend always use protection :)

@@felipe2fp Yeah always use your helmet and pads 100%. I am getting over a bruised heel, lol. Few more days and ordered some new Insoles . So yeah the Icarus is amazing. I wanted to keep in shape for snowboarding and never really londboarderd much. Though the Icarus is very similar to a snowboard and the flex makes it amazing for pumping, carving, crusing and dancing. I'm enjoying it very much

I dig Powell Peralta products but I despise these slalom shape boards being called ‘long boards’ which they are not! A traditional long board is 36” and over and surfstyle shaped! These slalom boards may be good for downhill skateboarding but they are single use and worthless for anything else and do not promote old school surfstyle skateboarding.

Lol there are many days to longboard, and those downhill guys are often good at other longboard styles as well. It seems stupid to say longboarding is only "old school surf style skating"

These wheels arent for sliding or free riding, Its mostly for grip and rough terrain. Great for city cruising or cracks and long turns

@@stooncorpchannel523 As carving and pumping I think the Vanguard is better, but free style and downhill the Icarus wins. It is in my opinion that the Icarus is a better all around board.
