Read the bible as a historical piece of literature, study it carefully, i mean millions of people witnessed Jesus Christ teachings and those masses would have killed the disciples to put an end to the bible if Jesus resurrection didn't happen, however,many have validated it and believed it to be true because after the death came the resurrection that made paved the way for the gospel to spread, no matter the minor discrepancies among the new testaments all those gospels written by different people all have speak about the acts of Jesus Christ, actual events that transpired just from different perspectives. Now the old testaments if you study carefully have all been prophesying about the birth of Jesus christ which eventually happened in the new testaments. Now the gap between the new testaments and the old is some 500 years and yet the prophesies accurately eventuated in the birth of the Messiah. With that overwhelming evidence, give me one piece of ancient literature like the bible that could stand the test of time and still be pointing towards the person of Christ. Jesus is the only way the truth and the life❤

Why would Christian artists who are trying to get music out about God be referred to as a plague that carries a negative connotation? Does it make someone unworthy of having less? 👑JESUS👑 turned down the things of this world when he was offered them by the devil. I’m unsure why I’m even writing this. So since he doesn't believe in Abrahamic religions, that is why he said that to Cliffe in the end. He is a good example of how this culture focuses a lot on individualism. Hey man! I just wanted to kinda talk about your reply here. Not in like a teacher way haha just in a commentary way lol. so the person who commented above, definitely didn’t go about the loving aspect preached by Jesus. But, one thing I also want to point out is (in the least like rude-sounding way possible of course) that when someone says something against anything you believe strongly, it can hurt your feelings or maybe provoke a strong reaction. That being said, I still know for a fact that Jesus commanded everyone to love their neighbors, and this is no exception from that command. So, on the behalf of all Jesus followers, i’m sorry for any time someone wasn’t acting enough like Jesus, which sadly should be expected because “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). I also do believe there is a big difference in real JESUS FOLLOWERS compared to Christians so sometimes people who go by “Christians” don’t always the Lord’s interest at heart, and sadly I think that’s pretty common. But, by no means saying this person isn’t though, like what I said, things said against one’s faith can warrant some strong reactions. Now for the other comments and onto the whole God is terrible and evil thing, I would first like to say that their is no world where God is evil, and their are a few examples to prove it. For example there are a few examples where people say “God is evil” that i’d like to talk about. First, one I see a lot is “God tempted adam and eve by putting the apple in the garden!!!!” and that’s just simply not true. You see, God didn’t want robots as his people. He wanted them to have a choice between choosing Him or the evils of the world. As you can see, we chose the latter, and we continue to do so today every time we sin. So now one might say “but God still tempted them, right?”. No. Temptation never comes from God, only from the devil, and this is a prime example of that. THE DEVIL came and tempted them, not God. Testing of our faith comes from God, Temptation comes from the devil. Anyways, hope that answers your question. If you have any more instances or questions, I’d be happy to answer.

Nothing in the Tanakh points to Jesus as that person is portrayed in the NT. Most of the claims of such leave out verses before and after the cherry picked ones that make clear who is being depicted. That the founders of a religion make up stories about a new hero who replicates the actions of heroes past is zero evidence for that person having been prophesied, he is manufactured to specification (and via lies). -- That the Bible requires interpretation and is so vague as to be amenable to contradictory interpretations means it cannot be the work of a beneficent God who wants us to know him, or at least to know his intentions for us.

The Masoretic texts compare well to the Dead Sea scrolls of the same content. The oldest Septuagint pieces are similar in age to the DSS fragments, but we have writings that say that the Septuagint was still being refined in 300 AD by Origen. So, your point barely has evidence for it and is also moot as it doesn't indicate that the Septuagint is a more original document than the Masoretic. And being closer to the original doesn't increase veracity if the original was false, it just is of anthropological interest.
@kardz1848
@kardz1848 2 ай бұрын
@@histreeonics7770 You do realize the dead sea scrolls only GIVE legitimacy to the Septuagint right? The oldest pieces of the Septuagint date back before Christ where as the oldest piece of mesoratic text is only about a thousand years old, in the vast majority of the references to the Old Testament made by the apostles they use the Septuagint. Youre assuming there is such a thing as an "original document"... as you put it "your point has [no] evidence for it and is also moot"
@histreeonics7770
@histreeonics7770 2 ай бұрын
@@kardz1848 In what sense would the Septuagint have legitimacy? Fragments of it help set the date of its creation, but nobody pretty much doubted its generally accepted date of origin. The "virgin birth" error shows just how untrustworthy the Septuagint is. The desire to proclaim prophecies as being met resulted in fabrications of stories of Jesus' birth and heritage that are incoherent, along with genealogies that are meaningless if Mary had not been a virgin. The piling on of miracles, ones that match Greek religious tropes, further undercuts any claim of divinity for such documents. When you step back and look at the effect of things like Torah law on a society you see that it is a social contract between the priesthood and the men to assure them that they have reproduced. All the rules on modesty and sexual exclusiveness serve the building of confidence that a man has not been cuckolded. That shows that purely secular, gene driven source for the content of the Jewish and subsequent monotheistic religions. Even the Christians follow that pattern, with adultery being the only basis for divorce.

@Permafrostt so the thing that people don't understand is the Spirit of God. There's a reason you have to get reborn into the kingdom of God, and he fills you with His Spirit, which replaces the spirit you were born with. Earth is a place of salvation and repentance for the living to choose. When you choose to believe that Jesus is the promised messiah of the Old Testament, that all of the Old Testament prophets spoke about, and that He is who He says He is, which is the invisible God in visible form, then because of that one act of faith, you're spirit is transformed and you are made into a new creation. Ask people, and they will tell you, that's exactly what happens. Then, be ause you are a new creation, you see, hear, taste, smell, and touch things totally different than you did before, you're new. And when you're new, the Lord gives you eyes to see and ears to hear. Otherwise, it is hidden to you. This place is a miracle, and so is the creator who put us here. God bless you

Ironic considering most historians agree he existed and other historical texts refer to him. You can well search that on this platform.

the evidence is the eyewitness testimonies in the books Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. There weren’t any cameras or recorders in the first century, therefore everything that was written by eyewitnesses. Those four people are only a few of those that saw Jesus before and during his death as well as his resurrection after three days pass. i could say i saw someone fall in front of me and you weren’t there to witness it. i didn’t get the chance to record what i had seen upon on my phone so the only evidence i had was my word and telling you what i had seen but you have the choice to accept or deny that because you weren’t there to witness the event. Overall I love you but Jesus loves you more.

Just ask God to show himself to you. You gotta mean it though. Also it will help to follow his instructions.

@@whiteboysushiman I completley believe that if god showed himself and revealed himself as being real I would believe. what you are asking is to believe without any evidence

The name of the video I clipped for this short is called “give me an answer #2215”! It’s on someone else’s channel not mine. I would link it, but you can’t add links in KZbin shorts anymore! But, that’s the tittle of the video.
