Disregard. I went back for a second attempt and it worked fine-ish. I lost a lot of limpets to ground collision but got what I needed. It's janky.

this is my first drone ever, and i just went for it. the mini 2 looks great. i think the FPV lets you 'grow into it' a bit more. there are more beginner-friendly modes. i flew the entire time in "Normal" mode, which has all safety features enabled (auto leveling, obstacle collision detection, and limited top speed). when i get comfortable with all that, i can keep the auto leveling, but double the speed while turning obstacle collision off (Sports mode), and then there are 2 levels of "Manual mode"; one where it keeps an attitude limiter, which prevents the drone from going upside down, and then "no safety features" mode, which lets you do literally anything you want, and also triples your speed from the Normal mode.
