I'm living for the vibe you got from that glitch cause I'm obsessed with horror/creepypasta 😂 I'm also unsettled by how your files are strangely spaced out, especially with the glitched file having an unusual margin between it and the normal files. Knowing what I know about programming (very little but my dad is a programmer and I grew up online since the 2000s so I picked up a few ideas) what I'm guessing happened here is Firealpaca and your version of Mac computer are having an argument off camera about what files go where after FA has already read them, and so creates a backup of what it might think is a missing file and uses the save data of maybe the last file you saved, viewed, or that FA has just ordered to the top of it's memory queue somehow. I *think* that finding out how to clear your FA's cache *may* clear the issue but if it doesn't then it likely just means that your Mac is still holding a grudge....Unless that's Ubuntu and not a Mac. It's a little hard to tell from here 😂 whatever you're using, then. The operating system would be holding a grudge and keeping receipts of the argument w FA. If that's the case, backup your original files to an external drive and delete the glitch. It shouldn't come back, but I do encourage you to remember each step you took and try to reproduce the glitch with test files and see what works. If you can somehow reliably produce this effect, it would greatly help the devs to kill the bug. That said I'm obsessed with this ghost glitch mimic thing. Another thing you could do if you can reproduce the error is make a cool horror short where a scary image you drew keeps duplicating even after you already deleted the original copy >:3c hehehe... what fun!
