Good video but could have been better if the prices where in Vietnamese Dong. Not every tourist is from America.
@xotoursvietnam14 күн бұрын
the price is mentioned in USD because like it or not the USD is as close to an international currency as there is and people will instantly understand how much things cost relative to their own currency. If we mention price in VND no one outside of Vietnam will understand how much the price is without having to pull up a currency conversion app or doing a web search.

My take on that would be the way of life/culture: 1. Earn one, spend ten 2. To show off the fake rich = khe` 3. Satisfying one's ego = Si~ 4. Being like heard of sheep = Me too syndrome Bunch of despicable Shytnamese. Lets keep it real!

Saigon night entertainment joints are suck! Bars, beer gardens and night clubs play stupid loud MC music, monotony beat of Houselak, Vinacraps. PERIOD! Hanoi's super clubs are by far better as they get with the international music scenes.

Construction details are shabby in all constructions, except for large international corporation owners like Hyatt, Sheraton...where standards are applied with nice finished details. Examples on tile laying, grouting, wall and frame trimming, corking... Quality has no conscience and 2nd behind beer time. LOL

In return, Vietnamese verbs aren't inflected, are conjugated the way they exist. They are put with some other words to clarify the time.

So you just cross lane by lane, traffic will move around you. Looks very similar to what I saw when I visited India. You watch what other people do and copy them. Once you mastered how the system work, it's nowhere as dangerous as it looks.

The video provides valuable context and captures the conversation well. However, the background music combined with the ambient noise really detracts from the experience. For example, the "Yes & No" explanation became garbled, which could negatively impact the travel experience due to the poor audio quality layered with the distracting ice cream truck music. - please take it as constructive feedback. appreciate your efforts

@xotoursvietnam2 ай бұрын
Not that we know of. The exchange shops in front of Ben Thanh market still do brisk business, all in front of the authorities

the only thing that they clamped down on is the sale of gold itself. They now require everyone that buys or sells gold to provide an electronic invoice. No more cash, under the table buying of gold.
