The University was formerly the famous Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute. This School served as the brain child of Dr Nkrumah in his Pan African ideology formation. There were citizens of many African countries who passed that school. We should credit Dr. Nkrumah for establishing the University. I was 15 years old when Nkrumah was toppled and the his beautiful head bust statue standing in front of the College was brought down. I vividly saw the sadness that face portrayed before the demolition. Any wonder Ghana had been going through a lots of mediocre developmental stages since then.

Nicely done. Hopefully there are "third places", within walking or a short bike ride distance, where people can gather outside of home and work. Small businesses within the estates, so people don't have to drive everywhere for basic needs. This will help avoid the issues that we have here in USA, with increased isolation and loneliness in the suburb (plus unsustainable infrastructure, due to a car-centric culture).

Hi! I'm planning on visiting Ghana for the first time in a few months, Lord willing. Can you share with me some safe and affordable hotels I can stay at? I heard you mention Dansoman has a good music scene too! Are there open mics or music lounges i can also visit? Thanks for uploading your video! And i look forward to watching more of your content. ✝️😀

lack of public spaces is very clear to see from above. Just buildings nkwaaa. Town planners in Ghana are failing us

Your commentary is too flowerry and exaggerated. Please be more factual and to the point. You only showed drone footage of the rooftops and treetops and not the actual estate. I live and cannot over emphasise the beauty and serenity of the estate.

why did they depend on European sailors to name the land what WAS IT CALLED BY THE VILLAGE PEOPLE BEFORE THAT?? My god!!! even the names of our homes in Africa were dictated by the colonizers 🚫
@ujpb7 күн бұрын
If you were attentive you would have heard it in the beginning. The local name which is called by people in the town and surroundings is called Simpa. Just like Cape-Coast is called Oguaa (Ogu33), Elmina - Edina, Saltpond - Akyemfo, etc

The Vikings never made it to West Africa. Even the validity of their incursions into North Africa is being debated. Moreover, their existence as any real force to be reckoned with was over, at least 600 years before Europeans landed on the shores of West Africa. Yes, Vikings predate Danish history, but we're talking about the period from 800 until 1050 AD, therefore, the Vikings DID NOT build castles nor Forts or any other structures for that matter in Ghana. Please use accurate facts in your videos.

I wouldn't trust someone who wants to be contacted privately to state the price of a land he posted on youtube. Something is not right.
@josephboateng43222 ай бұрын
Prices change overtime so not always good to put out price on a video that could be here for ages. You may be fighting over price when you see this video after 2 years and assume price should be the same

they have started building houses there.. so do we have planners. part of That place can be turned into an industrial area... homes should not be allowed anywhere... in Ghana the moment we hear of land being sold it automatically means let's build house... every two or three suburbs must Share an industrial area...people living close to the areas would not have jobs and either resort to street selling or travelling all the way to accra or tema for work which already choked... we are not serious..

This is because there are no zoning laws in Ghana that force developers to allocate portions of their land to commercial and industrial uses.
