Great song!

I would call this one of the quintessential songs of the 1970's. It was such a great decade in much simpler better times. Only those who were actually around back then fully understand this.

Vanno in giro.. AIUTATEMI. Credo sia UCRAINA.....

I always loved this song when I was a kid(9 years old when it was released in '75) because of the harmonies. Now, it has a whole different meaning to me as an adult, so it soothes my soul when I hear it again because I can have a conversation without actually speaking.

Too pop for rock fans, too rock for pop fans. They always fell between the two stools. Very much like XTC and Squeeze. Bit too clever for their own good, lyrically and musically. Shame. They were great musicians.

This song was 'our' song lol. I'm 62, I still think of Tom every time i hear it, and every time, still, it makes me cry. The 70s were gold.
