This is one of my favorite SVSSS antimatics, it portrays SJ's pain and resentment and grief so well and really encapsulates the tragedy of his relationship with YQY. They both ache for the days when they had each other but are certain that there's no way to go back to that, that the other one would never even want to go back to relying on one another. This was hilarious, I legit could not stop laughing at how funny and perfect this is for teenage WangXian. Wei Ying had very cute expressions, and Lan Zhan too, though it seemed like the default expression was pouting, which is adorable! and Lan Zhan's ears being bright red!! Lan Zhan knows how he feels but denies it, and Wei Ying just assumes his feelings are hate. Because rushing pulse and reeling head and blushing face would naturally equal loathing. Love the animatic and the song!

And honestly, this is just the quintessential Qijiu song, isnt' it? And you executed it so well!! YQY and SJ look like themselves while also keeping true to your style and that's so cool. 🥺🥺 Also not sure if this was purposeful, but the Qiu household burning and the song fit really well, almost giving Shen Jiu a kind of "everything that hurts me, I'll just burn away" theme that is very true to his character.
