It's true what he says about God removing your addictions. I was an alcoholic for decades and could not stop on my own. The only way I could quit was to just give it all up to God and let Him take control of my life. I'm now sober for over 5 years and I don't even have the craving. With men these things are impossible but for God nothing is impossible.

Such a wonderful conversation. Listening to 2 writers talk about writing was such a pleasure and very interesting. Loved the info on Larry McMurtry since I have finally started reading Lonesome Dove. I have yet to watch the mini-series - but it may be in my future once I've finished the book. There was so much in here that it will need a second viewing.

Wonderful conversation. I enjoyed the background information, it’s always so fascinating to learn a little about how a movie is made, and in this case, also talking about the source material. I’m curious how different the story is to the movie, so I ordered a copy of the book. I first saw the movie decades ago, and was surprised when I watched it last night how much of it I remembered. It really stuck with me. This was a great companion to the article. Hope to see more of these interviews.

I love Father Lampert but not all Catholics authorities are good. There is corruption evil greed and sexual depravity, in the Vatican. But, in institutional corruption, there are real understanding Nobel individuals standing up fighting the good fight against evil corruption.

It feels like Fr. Lampert is coming from a peaceful loving place, some other exorcist Priests often appear angry ego based fear mongering with their agenda, I'm sure their intention is good but lacking in love that's crucial to fight evil.

Kevin, Have you looked in to the deaths that have happened because of exorcisms? There are many famous cases and also recent ones of people who have passed because of this belief. I find the idea of exorcisms to be dangerous and cause actual harm.

@@trisha9745 Google Anneliese Michel or just anything related to this because multiple people have died via the church doing it or people at home doing it. Official and unofficial exorcisms have lead to the end of life. Check it out. There is lots of evidence.

That's the G-d "pattern". I'm working on this. The world is assembled together out of "patterns." On Cuba St. right here there's a stationery shop called Minerva, right opposite to the Fish Market. That's Athena and Poseidon, you see, and they intersect at infinity. :)) Things like that. That's one pattern which personally I cannot dispute... But where does it lie on the big picture...? :)

So, in the past them have always attacked through "fornication." Always!! Always attacked on the female, if you know what I mean... Will it ever be different?? :) That's why purity of thought is very important....
