I purchased a foam cervical neck collar for 9 bucks on Amazon and that solved my mouth breathing problem which was causing leakage. It wasn't the large solid type that you would see when someone has whiplash. It is smaller than most airline neck pillows, so it is minimal. The important thing is that it supports the chin and prevents your jaw from dropping.

I'm pro sleep apnea as well. Less fatties please ✊

General Note: 1) Dry all parts out of direct sunlight and heat 2) Water should not be hotter than 130 deg Fahrenheit 3) Unplug unit before removing parts or cleaning 4) Use room temperature distilled water for the tub 5) If you get white particle buildup in tub, soak it in a solution of 1 part household vinegar and 9 parts water - Rinse with clean water - Let dry Daily: 1) Mask: Wipe the mask cushion with a clean disposable cloth or CPAP wipes, rinse, and dry 2) Tub: Wipe the tub with a clean disposable cloth, rinse, and dry Weekly: 1) Mask: Clean the entire mask setup with warm water and dish soap, rinse, and dry (due to oil and dirt buildup) 2) Connector: Remove it from the unit (latch is inside the water chamber) and soak in warm water and dish soap, rinse, dry 3) Tubing: As instructed in this video - hang dry upside down for the day 4) Unit: Wipe down unit surface with a clean cloth or disposable cloth Inspection: 1) Tubing: Inspect the tubing weekly for holes, tears or cracks (replace as needed) 2) Tub: Inspect for leaking, cracking, cloudy, pitted (replace as needed) 3) Mask: Inspect and notice if seal is broken, cushion starts to break down, etc. (replace as needed) 4) Filter: Inspect weekly for dirt buildup, tears, blockages (replace every 3-6 months or sooner if needed)

The head strap on my new mask won’t stay put on my head and slides down as I move about this is causing the mask to leak and I wake with sore mouth and throat, I bought the. Resmed mini to take away the first week or two has been great and I’ve felt much better, now the strap seems a bit fragile and won’t stay put. Do I need to try some other mask at all.

Quite a lame instructional video. Missed some issues (eg headgear) and was an amateurish production. Poor lighting, no closeups of the equipment, mediocre sound quality. The presenter face could hardly be seen-not very good technique for credibility. I’d suggest you hire a professional video production company who will properly research and produce a high quality, educational piece.

I’ve had sleep apnea for around 20 years. Doctors brushed me off when finally my husband stepped in and told my new doctor to do something or my death would be on his hands. My husband is a huge, loud Armenian guy. Doctor finally listened and my sleep study is next week.

My oxygen mask has been gold. Apnea is a serious threat and having 30 episodes a minute was such a burden. Nose surgery coming....
