and the second standard exception....after all Matthew got it wrong....by not saying ....one of the exceptions is.....being abandoned the term is not under bondage, or not enslaved, which is different to not being bound, a term just used, earlier on, in the same text....

here comes the false teaching....porneia is translated, as sexual immorality, thus making it equivalent to adultery, and then using that as an exception....something the text does not support.....check on how Erasmus, in the time of Luther made this change....

here we go, agian the standard statement....sexual immorality....all sin, out of the marriage covenant is sexual immorality....one is fornication and the other adultery.....using porneia as sexual immorality allows this exception to go, into the marriage covenant, where fornication would not......ergo, another false teaching...

Whether a spouse had committed adultery or not, if they’re in an abusive relationship or a spouse is abusive towards the kids, I say let them divorce anyways for the sake of the kids and the physical/emotional concerns of the victims.

A women in a an abusive relationship, should report her abuse to the police and see to it that justice is served, (that would be out of her hands) report it to her church, and he should be thrown out of the church. But the woman should not divorce her husband, but rather stay away from the deadbeat and keep the kids away from him.
