You know after Battlefield 2042 I feel like we were to harsh on battlefield 5 looking back BF5 still a phenomenal game that I think was a great sequel for Battlefield 1

Just picked bf1 back up for my series x. It's one if my favourites for sure, I don't really play fps games that much anymore especially not multilayer focused ones. But bf1 is just the best imo it gets so much right, and the atmosphere and graphics still blow my.mind to this day.

I really liked BF1 but the thing that sucks is either you’re getting steam rolled or you’re steam rolling the other team Sometimes you join a game and survive for a long time picking people off with the whole squad moving up at the same time and it’s the best feeling ever And sometimes you can’t leave spawn because everyone is getting sniped You poke your head out from ANY cover and see 5 sniper glints in the distance

Just come back to this game after a couple of years away - getting my ass kicked but still loving it - BF1 is an absolute masterpiece - so immersive and atmospheric - the sound effects in this game are unbelievable. My issue is because I am an older gamer (47 yrs) and I now seem to struggle on the darker/nighttime maps, I just can’t see sh*t - I’m def easy prey on those maps. But god I love this game!

Tried the BF 2042 update on Gamepass (in lieu of the bad reviews), and it just prompted me to reinstall BF1. Played it all holiday break. Great game.

Literally the only issue I'm having is getting kicked out of casual before the game can start, the game ends and they slap me with a 15 minute leaver penalty

Would this be a good way to get into fps games. I’ve played fps games on m&k back in the days. Now I just bought the series x and I wanna get into fps games on it.

yes for sure. I think that this is a good game for getting into fps on console since there isnt any sbmm and a lot of people to run into. If you get ea play for 5 bucks a month or game pass you get this for free. And personally if you like the fluid feel of a mouse then if you switch your response curve to linear or 0 then it feels pretty nice as well. Thats personal preference though.
