What's actually scary is that this dirty old George Lucas lookalike already loaded down with gifts actually was hired to be a Santa Claus at a community center, but after TCaP found a flyer, they called the community center and he was fired before any kids could sit on his lap.

@@captaincooool Gary Anderson picked the worst time to miss his only field goal of the season, and Dennis Green took his foot off the gas before half time and played conservative.. as much of a great record he had during the regular season, his playoff teams underachieved and he played conservative football as opposed to the aggressive offense he had that year and it cost us.

This was one of Kevin Harlan's first big-time exposure games; Summerall/Madden almost always did the Cowboys from 1994-96 regardless of who they were playing (Arizona that day) but this was a much more important game than that one. Also, the Dallas-Arizona game was short, around 2 hours 40 minutes, while this one ran almost an hour longer, so a lot of the second half was shown to the entire country as bonus coverage.

I was 17 , and I still remember the gut punch in the NFC championship game, that was the first Vikings game I ever went too, and it's been a curse ever since.
