@@natural_nan yes I will do that, about how long does it take to notice the difference after starting them? And also I have Diverticulosis, so I have to soak them first, so I put some in a cup of water and put it in the refrigerator. I used 1 tbsp, is that an ok amount to start with?

@@natural_nan I gave them a try and they backed me up after just one try, even though I use Miralax every day too, and I also take a Probiotic! So I don’t understand why they did me like that! I soaked 1 tbsp of the chia seeds in 8 oz. of water over night in the fridge and just poured all of that in my smoothie! Now I’m scared to use them any more! Do you have any suggestions or ideas B as to how and keep them from doing me like that? I would greatly appreciate help from anyone!! TIA!!!

I'm sorry to hear that chia seeds didn't work out for you! 🌱 Everyone’s body reacts differently, and sometimes too much fiber too quickly can cause discomfort. It might help to start with smaller amounts and increase gradually while staying hydrated. Have you tried pairing them with other gut-friendly foods? Hope you find something that works better for you! 🙏

@@KEY44449 I have Diverticulosis and just found out I also have Gastroparesis, so my doctor suggested drinking smoothies,so I starting drinking them and putting Flax seeds in them, and it has made a huge difference in my bowel movements (sorry to talk about that, but I couldn’t think of any other way to say it) 🤷‍♀️Anyway, so I’m gonna start putting Chia seeds in them now, but I hope I get great results from those as well! Great question! 😊 Tea tree oil can help with dental health over time, but results vary depending on what you're using it for. Some people notice fresher breath and reduced plaque within a week, but if you're looking to support gum health, it may take a few weeks of consistent use. Just remember to dilute it well and avoid swallowing! Let us know how it works for you!

So I have a hair pulling disorder, and often pull them out. (I have a bald spot on them not that it matters to you) will they grow back?
@natural_nan
@natural_nan 20 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing, and I completely understand your concern. With a hair-pulling disorder, it's still possible for your eyelashes to grow back, but frequent pulling can weaken the hair follicles over time, potentially slowing or even stopping regrowth in some cases. Giving your lashes a chance to go through their natural growth cycle could help them come back fuller. You might also want to connect with a healthcare provider for additional support in managing hair pulling and helping your lashes grow back!

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that the baking soda worked for you, but I totally understand how it might cause a bit of discomfort if you have a sensitive scalp. It's always a good idea to do a patch test before applying anything to your scalp to ensure you don't experience irritation. If you ever feel discomfort, it's best to rinse it out immediately. Glad to hear the soreness wasn't permanent! Have you tried any soothing remedies afterward, like aloe vera or coconut oil?

@natural_nan 14 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your experience @VernsJohnson! Baking soda doesn’t work the same way for everyone, as skin types and conditions vary. If you’re noticing issues, it could be helpful to reduce the frequency of use, adjust the concentration, or pair it with a soothing ingredient like honey or aloe vera. Also, be sure to moisturize afterward to prevent dryness. Let me know more about your routine, and I’d be happy to suggest adjustments! 😊

I have bleached hair and i want to remove that . Does this work on my hair
@natural_nan
@natural_nan 20 күн бұрын
Thanks for your question! Baking soda can help with lightening hair and removing product buildup, but it might not be effective at fully removing bleach or color from your hair. Since bleached hair is more porous and delicate, using baking soda could potentially cause dryness or damage. It's best to use gentle hair treatments, like clarifying shampoos, or consult a professional for color removal to ensure the health of your hair. If you're looking to repair bleached hair, deep conditioning treatments can help restore moisture and prevent damage.

My apple cider vinegar expired 5 yrs ago is it still good ?
@natural_nan
@natural_nan 20 күн бұрын
If your apple cider vinegar expired 5 years ago, it should still be safe to use, provided it has been stored properly (in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat). Apple cider vinegar generally has an indefinite shelf life, even past its expiration date. Over time, it may lose some of its potency or change in appearance, but this doesn’t make it harmful. The most important thing is to check for any unusual changes in smell or appearance (such as mold or an off odor). If it looks and smells fine, it’s likely still good to use!

Doesn't it burn?
@natural_nan
@natural_nan 20 күн бұрын
Baking soda can sometimes cause a slight burning or tingling sensation, especially if it's left on the skin for too long or if your skin is sensitive. This is why it's important to follow the recommended usage guidelines and to avoid overuse. If you experience discomfort, it may be helpful to rinse it off immediately and try it less frequently or with a more diluted paste. Always do a patch test on a small area of your skin before using it on your face, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Should we soak chia seeds at room temperature or in refrigerator
@natural_nan
@natural_nan Ай бұрын
Great question and thank you for asking! You can soak chia seeds at room temperature or in the refrigerator. If you soak them at room temperature, they'll absorb water more quickly, but refrigerating them can help keep them fresh and prevent any unwanted fermentation if you're soaking them for an extended period. Either way works, so choose what fits your routine best! I personally wouldn't leave them soaking for longer than a few hours at room temperature just to avoid any bacteria/food safety issues. 2-3 hours should be just fine at room temperature, but anything longer, it is better to keep it in the fridge.

The homemade clove oil can generally last for about 1 to 2 months if stored in a cool, dark place. Just make sure to keep it in a sealed container to prevent oxidation. Always check for any changes in smell or appearance before using it, and if you're unsure, it’s best to make a fresh batch. 😊

1. For every cup of oil you want to infuse, toast about 1/2 Tbsp. of cloves in a pan over medium heat. The volatile oils in the cloves are mobilized and simpler to extract when they are toasted. How many minutes of toasting? Thank you

Wrong. Average clueless housewives can’t make detergents comparable to mainstream products with grocery store ingredients. This video describes a typical obsolete DIY recipe. Soap hasn’t been used to wash laundry for over 70 years. No modern washer is designed to use soap. It deposits soap scum and may void warranties. Avoid this nonsense.
