Wow! Just, Wow! I've seen you play at the Suwannee over the last few decades. Every time your music has touched my heart, but last week was so magical! Not only did you sing my twin baby boys to sleep a few times, but my 20 year son discovered you on his own and feels the magic too. Thanks Verlon❤

Amazing song, It looks like he is reliving the moment when he first sings the words "Maybe it was Abilene", (3:30 ish minute mark). It must have been a long ride home! This song tells the story well, from a looking-back perspective! Thank you, Mr Thompson!
