TBH, I think this movie would’ve been better if it were hand drawn animated with Ron Howard and Brian Grazer as producers and David Silverman as a director. The script could have gone through a rewrite, and the titular role would go to Robin Williams.

I want to try to make a version of Charlie Brown Christmas that has this version of the intro and the ending with the Coca Cola and try to make it look digitally remastered by fixing the color and removing that blue line in the middle and then adding it in with the remastered version we have now

I wonder if there may have been some legal issues since the one character is clearly derivative of Droopy. It's interesting that many of the Hanna-Barbera Sound Effects are heard here. But it obviously was not done by H-B because Bill Hanna's timing was much sharper than this. I can see why this didn't go anywhere. Too much dialogue and a dull situation, not to mention uninteresting voices..
