They should have cancelled it and given people a display later in the year. All the money up in smoke for no one.

@@jimboyuk1 That's not Swiss way....We were in traffic jam before Gotthard Tunnel for 3.5 hours on Dec 22, 2024. 3.5 hours moved 5 km. Most of people turned off the engines and walked around their cars. There was NO accident at all. Snow has to be plowed away and made the road 100% clear, beautiful.

10'000 von Franken für nichts verballert 😂😂 Habe echt gehofft, dass es noch abgebrochen wird. Wurde aber knallhart durchgezogen 🤣🤣 Schade. Das Wetter hat es leider nicht möglich gemacht. Habe ich so noch nie erlebt. Währe das erste Silvesterfeuerwerke in Zürich für meine Jungs gewesen. Die Kids wahren natürlich entäuscht. Aber wird ja nicht das letzte sein 🤗 Happy new Year allen 🎉

in the summer of 1970, when i worked at the palace hotel, there weren't all those luxury boutiques. gstaad is an exceptional place and i have very good memories with my swiss-german colleagues who spoke to me in german and i enjoyed working with them and vice versa as i was the only french person there at the time.lovely country !!!
