Looking back, both of these dudes had good potential early on in their UFC runs but lost something along the way or just never had a certain thing to begin with. Greene seemed to be somewhat well rounded for a heavyweight with a long reach and good submissions but lost his confidence along the way I think. with the right handling in his career maybe he coulda developed into a solid anti fighter like Neil Magny and had a long and prosperous run in UFC but he looked way outta shape here and a fight with JDS doesn’t seem to favour him, JDS respectfully is still probably a top 10 heavyweight contender on the planet. Chase Sherman on the other hand always reminded me of a good old fashioned heavyweight who was there to box aggressively and knock his opponents out with punches and heavy low kicks and resembled the looks of the old 1970’s heavyweight boxing journeyman: Jurgen Blin, but sadly Sherman’s cardio always runs out after round 1 so he’s never really got to showcase any grit or heart, he was completely exhausted by the time he tapped out here, which isn’t a good sign in his evolution as a fighter.
