There is something wrong there, when if I move the selector to the left to Tape Head or Special it hits the speaker quite hard, this should not happen I have the DAC connected to the Spare channel and it can be heard perfectly but when I change the selector to Phono I can still hear the DAC although at a lower volume, there is something wrong there.

recording mic could be better... two things...looks like the bias adjustment is missing and the electric cord coming out the back is not correct...the wires are exposed...Vetween a better recording mic and better speakers like some Spendor S100 or Tannoy's would allow the amp to shone more...but i like the rest of the upgrade

While I sold audio at Sam Goodys in 1980, I wanted an A 402 badly, but they did not sell that (sold some HK receivers) so I got a fellow sales person to write a quote (basically wholesale cost) and took it to a different chain in Jersey claiming they would match any written quote. I gave them the card, they freaked, called my store and spoke to the salesperson on the card. He, of course confirmed the price and voila, a true deal. Loved those LED meters.....and the dual headphone jacks

Ok technical Q. I am using optical cable so I changed source to optic. Changed on windows 10 but no sound, except one of the mb, hertz made buzzing noise. Any idea settings both Logitech and windows advanced settings? Thanks in advance.

I have these too as I inherited them from my dad's collection with his Tandberg TR 2045. Love the warm sound of the Tandberg. the accurate sounding speakers. They just set up all I really need. For now.

It's not very expensive, but for the price it is pretty awesome and does a lot of things, DAC, Bluetooth Receiver, headphone amp, rubr buffer, and can be used as a stand alone Preamplifier. It's best use for me is as a dac plugged in to the aux jack of my preamp or Receiver and I plug my phone directly in to the USB port on the dac. You'll have to order the USB cable to match your phone, but pretty simple.
