It is a saturday night in 1987, Concepción, Chile…..we were making money to finance our 2 months trip to France as a French School, by making the best parties at high school level…..the party started 10 pm and at 9:30 pm, the dj was preparing his set and the atmosphere by starting with this remix and I stopped working just to listening this f…. Amazing song. I will never forget it….

Essa faixa do album Bedtime histories fez muito sucesso no Brasil na epoca de promoção do album... Acredito que por alguma jogada de marketing escolheram essa track para ser o single principal e deu muito certo em terras tupiniquins.

This is such a beautiful song. This version is so hot. It was supposed to be out before EVERYBODY. CIRCA 1982. Love the harmonies/echo in the background. Madonna the young Italian vulnerable girl from Michigan, before SEYMOUR STEIN signed her to SIRE/WARNER BROS. Brilliant work!!

I actually prefer her voice prior to receiving formal training for Dick Tracy and especially Evita, which was before she started singing in her lower register as opposed to her upper falsetto register. Head vs. chest…who else agrees?

She was criticized for her “Minnie Mouse” helium voice as sounding thin or weak, but IMO that’s what made her so unique and special and different. She was accused of straining and trying too hard, but that is where and how she truly shined brightest!

@@Djadja sadly it’s Raw Silks vocal. It’s in the vogue multitrack as “Raw Silk Sample Vox”. Shep has a bit of a rep for using samples and not gaining clearance before releasing lol. I think this was another example. Same with erotica, he wanted to use the prayer sample without prior permission 😂

Sorry, I’ve started working on it but it is taking me longer this time as I’ve had some of my “official” work to do in between. This mix of vogue was made a while ago but I kept forgetting to upload it because I’m pretty useless with organisation 😂 I have files all over the place. Shouldn’t be long now though ❤

@@DigitallyRemasteredMusic Thank you for telling me, I also have a Real Job, so I understand your situation, I also ask, do not stop doing a beautiful job, because an eager person is waiting, regarding the files on different sides, it is a problem, And not to mention if you change the HD for a larger one, then you won't find anything. I usually put Notepad txt files inside the new or moved directories, with the possible name that I would use in a search, like leaving something in case I have no idea where the information was moved. The Vogue version is splendid. I check your channel almost daily, I even have several videos to download. I made the instrumental version of your ROL, obviously not uploaded anywhere, Hugs and have a nice summer.
