Hi I grew up in the Astoria projects. Astoria, an queensbridge. Never got alone. Met my husband in Queens bridge. Ravenswood was really nice. A lot of people had money there. So this is a shock. We had no transit back then. Have a great day.

The thing about back in the day drug days. Is we know that game to be life or death or prion now. We know that now because of movies and tv. But then it was new there weren’t really no for certain paths. They didn’t think they’d be killed or go to prison. The money was insane. So much money on the streets it was unbelievable.

You're absolutely correct. Rucker Park was lit up. I haven't been there in years, but I do remember being at my cousin's apartment in Polo Grounds when there was a shooting at Rucker Park.
