I think FIFA needs to find a solution for diving and faking injuries, at least the US is trying. There may be a few kinks to iron out to avoid incidents like this, but largely speaking I think it's good that they're trying to do something.

Arg vs France WC finals 79' 2-0 and at 81' it was 2-2. The recent UCL semi, RM vs Bayern 89' 0-1...90+1' 2-1 That too you are playing 10 men. So everyone will try to injure the best player and keep doing that until whenever they want 11v10. That's why Messi had no goal contributions last game. He was playing so deep because he knew everyone was there to get him. The fear of being taken out for 2 mins will itself hinder the players from making plays.

It doesn’t matter. As a CB, you can’t make these mistakes at this level. The striker would be always one vs one with GK, and that’s a nightmare.

Tochel is too harsh on him.. that s not the way of coach to manage a team. The way Kim plays as a defender is a bit different from how Bayern has been playing for last few months. Kim is best for the very aggressive attacking team. He was the best defender in SERIE A which is the home of legendary defenders.

As team priority, how he can keep Rodorigo away from penalty area was more important than having such a voracious challenge. Despite no likelihood to clearnly make contact into the ball, recklessly slaughtering Rodorigo is bode poor for his future's career. Nowadays, Asian players have been regularly transffering into European League though I can't imagine they will be recognized as iconic player of top League club such as Man City, R.Madri and Bayern. Except Son Heung Ming, most of other players are rarely recognized.

Looking at this Replay, Manuel Neuer made the biggest mistake of them all. If he stood ca. at the penalty point where he should be if the defense stands so high, he could have easily reach the ball way before Vini Jr. who reached it only inside the box. But Kim was awful too. He made another huge mistake as Modric chipped the ball over Vini and him which led to another big chance for Real in the second half.

Bro the ball by kroos was perfect, see the pace of the ball slowing down till it reaches to the penalty box and also Vini's run was accurate. There was no mistake of Neuer.
