Larry you really have an optimistic outlook to next year. Who’s our QB? Our D line will have one starter left, our LB development has been very suspect. Porter is gone on the outside cb, Powell gone at safety. All of WRs will be gone expect Zay. And most importantly who is going to replace Cam Ward?? He won us at least 5 games this year. Unless they hit the portal super hard it will be a long ass season. I’m expecting 6 wins next year and thats generous

It shouldn't matter! I watch Power schools and group of 5 school, this! Year! Miami is more talent than most them. Most them DE's, LB's and safeties don't look like Miami's with no sitting the edge, poor angles, poor tackling, lack of awareness and etc. I've watch teams with true freshman and sophomores at these positions looking better than Miami players at DE, LB and safety who have 4 or more years experience!

@@1320_ikimasho We lost to GT last year because a HC with 12 years of experience refused to take a knee! Every other HC in modern football young and old the last 10 to 15 years in the NFL and CFB, that, I have watched in that similar situation of running the clock out with taking knees! They all have don't, except Mario Cristabol! It really disturbing because I witness young 33 to 40 year old 1st time HC anywhere in the NFL, they all took knee to run the clock!

Also...the ACC will only get one bid so Miami, SMU or Clemson will need to win the ACC title or be left out. The SEC will get 4 bids. Big Xii one bid, ND and Boise, and that leaves four bids for Big Ten or a fifth SEC team.

As an opposition fan...felt UM was better last year than this year. Believe a lot of Miami's success this year is due to scheduling and some very questionable calls. If you put them at 7-3 with those other two losses figured in...would you be saying the same optimism? This UM team was about the same as the last few years and FAR FAR away from the great UM teams of the 80's.

No why Miami lost only 24 carriers for Martinez and Fletcher ,Fletcher only had 5 carries which is ridiculous I have been saying this running the football is how you win football games and good defense behind it.Football is never won by your QB if Mario runs the football more and kicks FG instead of going for it on 4th and 1 we win ,a physical football team must be matched with being physical passing the football makes you soft the defense got Miami in position to win the game even thou they played poorly. We need go back to old school football and run the football and play good defense lets go Canes.

My take hero ball finally cost us, for example Tyler Baron continued to crash inside, when they knew before the game gtech would try the edges, Cam on the last drive just refuses to check the ball down to his backs.
@DirtyCaneThang
@DirtyCaneThang 5 күн бұрын
Dude seriously stop listening to other people go look at the facts Miami didn't run the football enough to establish a run game 24 carries the entire game you need 35 carries to establish the line of scrimmage ,plus when you are struggling just kick the FG to give your team a chance Mario lost this game the defense actually got enough stops for Miami to win.
@DirtyCaneThang

Holding a team to 7 points a qt is actually good Miami should have won 48 -28 if they run the football and pass behind it.

6 defenders in the box against 9 doesn't help. If Cam needs six possessions to get into the game and he only gets six, this is what happens.

So basically you telling me holding a team to 28 is not good enough to win man stop the offense didn't run the football enough to establish a run game 24 carries is not enough and not kicking the FGs when your team is struggling to make 1 yard this was embarrassing for Mario he lost this game not the defense

Stop with the excuse! Mario isn't Butch Davis at Miami with 3 years probation. He isn't Randy Shannon, Butch Davis, Howard Schnellengburger, Larry Coker or Manny Diaz at Miami as 1st time HC at Miami. Mario came to Miami with 10 years of HC experience at FIU and Oregon. Mario is the most experience hired HC at Miami other than Mark Richt who had 15 years HC experience at UGA before coming to Miami! Mario has gotten the money and resources, no other Miami HC has gotten going back to Howard Schnellenburger. He has NIL and transfer portal to aid him! None of the prior Miami HC had those things! If you want to bring up Kirby Smart, he was a 1st time HC at his alma mater UGA. He went 8 and 5 year one and 11 and 1 in year 2! If you want to use Jim Harbaugh, he won 10 games in his 1st and 2nd year at Michigan! Kirby and Jim didn't have NIL and transfer portal to help them at their alma mater like Mario has had at Miami!

Why did they lose? Cam Ward was not his normal in this game, either he was up all night partying or was drugged somehow. Mario gives up two field goals and goes for 2? that's 7 points and totally changes the whole game. Is all this heisman stuff messing up their game plans?

Stupid ass comment, we gave up 300 yards rushing, we had five crucial dropped passes. Including two from Restrepo. Our safety has a 35 rating on pff blaming Cam is dumb as fuck offense bailed defense out all year

@iancoleman9988 yes we did but the defense only gave up 28 points they got enough stops for us to win stop blaming the defense Miami lost because our coach didn't run the football enough to establish a run game or kick FGs a football game is always won by your defense to get stops GT averaged 7 points a QT if Miami kicks the FG or on 4th and 1 be physical and run the football we win this game all this passing makes u soft

@DirtyCaneThang the defense was on the fire for 38 minutes and kept us to nine possession, GT ate the clock, the offense could have and should have been better, but the inability to get off the field killed us.

I was there. The officiating was horrible. They held 2 most of the game and it was called once. The defense really struggled with the shifts and constantly getting out-leveraged. We had guys open on offense, but we have to take what the defense gives us and not force downfield when teams play cover 2.

This is my Team for over 35 years, I watched every game.we didn't have to lose that game.quarter Back need to be more protected, bad call's and holding the ball to long should have just thrown the ball down instead of getting sacks and letting them get the ball from us. We got to do better on defense I watched Louisville keep the Yellow JACKET at only a 3 point field goal and yes I'm mad as hell. you are still my favorite Team forever.

Bye bye season. Can't beat a qb who threw for less than 50 yds. Ran around vs a pillow fighting D and looked care free. 275 yds rushing for Tech? It was only a matter of time. Tech smaller players but were far most physical. This team been living on the edge too long.

What is his original language? I know my ears aren't so good now that I'm over 70 but I swear I couldn't make out half of what he was saying. In my opinion, he started off the season replacing Rivers, but not in a good way. He was a turnstile. He plugged up the middle because of his massive size but he lacked mobility. His failure to seal the edge against faster, quicker and smaller defensive ends was miserable to watch. He HAS improved from his JUCO days, and now that we're ending the season, he's playing more to his potential. Next year, he's going to be a MONSTER!
