I have one but for a twisted hobbys plane it is very heavy, so it feels way underpowered & not floaty compared to my other twisted hobbys planes, like the beaver or puddlestar. Mixed feelings so far. I think a 2212 1000 KV 10x4.7 on 3 S is not enough oomph. It struggles to come out of a hover. Shame about the landing gear on yours.

@TakeItToTheGround I can totally agree it feels very underpowered at times. however i ran out of 3s batterys today and put in a 2s to see what would happen i had a great laugh .... soooo slow even fully pegged lol...I'm getting the hang of it now alil better.... went back to the stock landing gear this one was alittle to stiff in this video ill try find another clip of today's flights at the park .. was good fun outta 6 planes only 1 found a light post this week 🤣 i maidened my new rc hobbys thunder today it's my first low wing plane was really good fun 😁 thanks for watching and commenting it's always interesting to hear some feedback and what others find/experience with there planes .. - Also have a flite test power pack c spare it's a 1250kv 2212 i think from memory in the draw i was thinking of giving it a try with a 9x4.7 maybe only draw back is i don't have an amp meter so will be second guessing the esc 🤷♂️🤦♂️

@@showusyaguppysaustralia1515 I was thinking of trying the 2212 1000 KV on 4S with a 9045 prop. Also about to try an 11x3.7 on 3S. All else fails I'll put a 2217 on it & give it some real pep.

@@showusyaguppysaustralia1515 I changed from a HY 10x4.7 slow fly prop to an APC 10x4.7 slow fly. Happier now. The HY's are quite bendy compared to the APC's. Could do with more pep but much better than before.
