There are only few gold dusts in the pan. Gold is also found in the river.

They are too tiny gold dusts. Try to find yellow soil. Yellow soil has more gold and maybe bigger.

I was backpacking through Vn in my 20's, Really roughing it, Sleeping on the sides of the road and bathing in rivers. Not a single hostel in the two months I was there. One time, I came out of a stream and as I washed the clay off my feet, They shone with the glitter of gold. I couldn't believe it. Just like the legends of gold strikes in the past. I took a sample of the clay to pan out later, And when I did, In less than a kilo of clay I found almsot a quarter gram of gold. I still know where that River is, And I dream of coming back and exploring it further.

The gold dusts are very fine. Try to find gold dusts that are bigger.. Here the gold dusts are smaller in quantity. Why not try to get sample not from the water but from the dry land side of the river. Maybe the dry land on the side of the river..

I can not see any gold in your pan. Why not try to use the circular pan. It's easier and faster to manipulate.. Try to get sample in the stream.

Cool , good work on your gold panning. Check that battery as the lights should not go bright and dull when you rev the throttle. I have been the Vietnam 3 times and love the people and country . Beer is good too 😁
