based on these interviews most of them are stereotypes like they don't have much knowledge about INDIA but on how little knowledge they have they create thier image as a whole country would be like this and in my personal opinion they might have same stereotypical answer about the western countries as well weather if it's good or bad depending upon thier thinking. so in conclusion most of Japanese people don't have much knowledge about other countries they create thier image based on whatever rumors they've heard.

This applies to China too, but I think every country has some level of fear or dislike when it comes to large populations and immigration. Indians as individuals are super friendly and kind, though. That said, I doubt Japanese people are much of a focus in India either-they’re more into Western countries over there anyway.

I speak from the heart when i say this, living in the netherlands(a europian country) in a multicultural city(mainly european and arab), being born with dutch nationality with my family lineage having lived away from india for hundreds of years(south america and europe). I hate being indian. I hate how we get treated and made out to be less. people might say i shouldn't care. but try that when your people(indians) are seen as less worthy in all apsects in life, than your peers(i live in a multicultural city) who had the same kind of upbringing(my fellow dutch/ people raised dutch but with foreign blood). I am multicultural in mentality, but had a indian-surinam(south america)-dutch(europe) upbringing. my mom and dad are still hindi and our blood is 100% indian but they got born outside of india(1 in south america and 1 in the netherlands), so i feel fully indian in nearly a whole damn world that hates us. even my "friends" have told me the honest truth. they see indians as dirty, disgusting, uncultured and poor people. I went to japan for vacation twice because i knew the japanese had a very "to themselfs mentality and society" with that i mean. The japanese people like japanese people more than any other race, at least most of its population. you might think? why would you go there then if most japanese won't even like you because you are'nt japanese. Because i'd rather live in a society where im being equaly discriminated against then in a society where it's : 1. The countries indigenous people, 2. All other kinds of people, 3. Indians and Pakistanis. with my sentence before this you can see how it feels to live in my life and situation. I am not the only one who had this experience. even my cousins and i have talked about this and they experienced the same kind of thing. This is why i hate being indian and living in the netherlands(In a multicultural city i have to specify) i will note, the dutch people in specefic are very welcoming and accepting so i love them, they think very nicely of india and i just happen to live in 1 of the cities where there are more foreign people(arabs, south americans and carribeans) than dutch people. i can't put everyone in a box, but i'm speaking about the majority of people in this post and yes from experience and even awnsers from people i can tell you, most people hate indians. also note i said i hate being indian, but i mean i hate being indian where i live. i love my herritage. indians are all about love and peace, what more could you want in a society. and I didn't go to india for vacation because I heard it's dangerous from my aunt(who got robbed) because we are pretty wealthy compared to most of india but not that wealthy in my country where i'm from. also I can't speak hindi.(my mom and dad both can) so language wise japan was the same as india for me. i actualy understand japanese more because of my hobbies (games and anime and learning japanese as a child so i can watch anime without subs)
