What sucks is I think the nonsense with the crypts could have worked and been interesting. Imagine if they landed on the crypts being the safest place and that forced them to empty the ancestral crypts and burn the dead. Honestly, Rose Bolton death was great. It came full circle when he was stabbed by his own son, when he felt safe at his own home, by the person he trusted the most. But then, D&D screwed all up when it was revealed that Rose was actually poisoned by his enemies.

I imagine how badass would be the scene as such: At the end I gods wood Jon ist eventually succeed to getting through, and on the other path arya just showed up. Fight between arya + Jon vs the others Leutnants, they struggle, night king throw himself to the fight to end this ASAP, he want to get to bran. Somehow in this storm of swords m arya is able to stick her valyrian steel dagger into night King and Leutnants shatter, at the end we see that bran, arya, or Jon are serious injured, so we don't know they will live till next episode or so. It is belivalbe because we expect some important deads to happen and because we are not giving every character tons of plot armor. Even the 3 character make it through eventually, we wouldn't know for sure at that moment, there is no source material anymore. Fuck I bet this crap ending, wrote in 4 minutes would be better then what happened in long night at the end and overall

They cut so much out of Tyrion and Jorah's adventure together that couldve strengthened Jorah having faith in Tyrion I lnow everyone hates the whole In The Books.... but legitimately an actual begrudging respect of their talents was made between Jorah and Tyrion even though the two dont like eachother and look down on the other respectively.

There were a FEW minor points that the show actually did answer, like how Theon recognized the Silence or how Tormund, Beric and Edd got to Winterfell before the dead (in the first episode they talked about riding there). But still, good god do I hate the latter four episodes. And every once in a while I come back here to hear them get ripped to shreds. Not a huge fan of the R-slur though, but I think it’s just an Aussie thing so whatever lol
