I didn't realize how robust our Washington state wine industry is and I'm curious how Washington wines would compare in blind tastings with other U.S. and European wines? ;-)

Its briliant idea. Just not clear how to protect the vine without sprain for pestisides.

the idea is by making the soil microbes more vigorous you bring in beneficial insects and eco structure this helps with pest control so sprays for pest are not needed.

pests attack weak vines, by having healthy vines the pest search for weaker vines.

Drinking a 2017 Sassella today. Very fine wines that need some intermediate cellaring to really hit their peak

What makes a living organism alive? Just the chemical - biological aspects? Or are there more aspects? If this is so, is the organic - biological a consequence? Applying Biodinamics celebrates the answers to these questions.

I've been a certified organic dairy farmer until killed by the demise of the pasture rule. Sounds sweet, but no added value for the producer. As organic producers we are continually criticized by our conventional counterparts. The cow in your video with what looks like an infected navel should not have been included in the movie. Yea, that's real, but the average consumer doesn't get it. So why show it in a promotional movie?
@Crushedgrapechroniclesvideo
@Crushedgrapechroniclesvideo Жыл бұрын
that clip was pulled from a stock company sadly, we missed that. the footage for the movies and real footage will be from the farms that we are talking about with no stock footage, so in the future this will not happen. Its why we are asking for help, I wont use in any future promotions, we are still like the average consumer and are working to fix that. please keep us honest. thank you.

We are not farmers, so i was completely unaware of the pasture rule you spoke of so I will look that up. This project also helps us to speak correctly on these subjects. so again thank you.

We have released a new video due to your suggestion that one of our stock images was of a cow that looked like it had a navel infection. We are learning and educating ourselves along the way. Thank you for keeping us 100%. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZKqlmB7Yq6ihrM

WE NEED 'SOLAR PANELS' EVERYWHERE If every photon we receive from the sun is captured by A LEAF OR OTHER PHOTOSYNTHETIC LIVE PLANT SURFACE (aka a natural solar panel) we might survive the coming climate situation. That means YOU (and me) plant as if your lives depend on it. Fill every space with a plant, a tree, a tomato vine, strawberries, small bushes. Just do it.

Can you explain more than just it’s best known for its Pinot. Like why?
@Crushedgrapechroniclesvideo
@Crushedgrapechroniclesvideo Жыл бұрын
The biggest reason why is the climate is perfect. Cool nights and warm days. the variety excels here. the vines are on rolling hills as you move from east to west toward the ocean, you get the breezes coming in from the ocean and a 1 degree temp change for every mile. Most of the Pinot grown in Santa Barbara is from Sta. Rita Hills because of this DIurnal Shift from cool to Hot.
