As a 41 yr old woman, I love this tutorial. I have a tiny bit of natural talent, but mostly I just try. I appreciate the explanation because it’s easy to understand why you’re doing the things you’re doing. I’m painting a galaxy for my son and am going to use your suggestions! Thanks, Ali! It looks great!

Just love it as it is straight to the point and happy with the subtitle as painting is being done. Tks for no music as I usually put mine on mute. Congratulations as you paint and do not jabber like some and before they start painting and I check on time taken by them its a horrible 15 mins, believe it or not. Just super painting no wasting time and its awesome. tks a million 🥰

I think the real difference will stand out maybe a few years from now... how vivid the colours are, whether they fade or flake off.... that would be interesting to know. I have some cheap paints but I find that they don't blend so smoothly as other, more expensive paints do. Even though the colours look very bright in the bottle, they didn't come out so bright on canvas. But still I use them because the medium- expensive brands like Pebeo or Amsterdam are a little bit beyond my budget...
@DaniyalArtAbstractART3 ай бұрын
Yes I totally agree, some colours like this tropical Blue looked so much more vibrant that I was a bit disappointed in how the colour looks. Regardless though, it’s totally possible to make beautiful art without the medium expensive brands! So just keep going !!🩵

This video is incredible!! Thank You for posting!! I look forward to giving it a whirl!!! :) One quick question... Can you please confirm if the first colour is "PERSIAN blue" ... or ... "PRUSSIAN blue" ? I ask, because the Folk Art brand of Persian blue is much lighter than the outer sides of this painting. I've not been able to find Persian blue in any other brands. But the Prussian blues are ubiquitous across many brands. So just thought I'd ask you, the expert. Thanks again!!! :)

To be honest, the side with the cheaper paint looks nicer to me. It's almost as if you were trying to make them look different. It's hard to make clouds look the same. Yes the colors may be a little off but you can make the same colors if mixed correctly. I bet if you were to paint the same exact flower the same exact way on two different canvases ,one with cheap paint and one with the expensive paint, they would look the same. I personally prefer the cheap paint over expensive paint due to the fact that it's not feasible to me to spend extra money when you can make it look the same. Please don't get me wrong, I think you did an incredible job. I wish I could paint like you. I like that you explain what you're doing in your videos. I love your work . Please keep putting out videos.I enjoy watching them.
@DaniyalArtAbstractART3 ай бұрын
I totally agree I think the two look incredibly similar and you might as well just get the cheaper one for sure! I do think that the more expensive one as a base has a really nice vibrancy that the cheap one doesn’t have and it’s easier to see in person. THANK YOU FOR THE KIND WORDS :)
@JCcreates9273 ай бұрын
Believe me when you are painting you want the good paint that isn't cheap. It makes painting easier and more enjoyable. Cheap paint doesn't have much pigment so you end up painting and painting to get an opaque image.
@LilRobsDayzee213 ай бұрын
@@JCcreates927 I'm new to painting. However, I do understand where you're coming from. I already enjoy painting and I use the cheaper paint. Right now I really can't afford the more expensive stuff since I stay home, taking care of my elderly disabled father in law. My mom has blessed me with a few supplies and honestly she has no idea about paints and what's what, bless her heart. She tries and I love her to death for everything she does. But I do thank you for your input. All advice is welcomed and appreciated. I accept all constructive criticism, apply it and learn from it.

Good demo. I've not used that particular Deco but I have used and love the Deco Americana paints. I also bought a kit of Monte but didn't like that as much. It did blend easier but I found it kind of oily. To each his own I guess. Love the way you halo your stars. Thanks for sharing your time and research.
