Thank you so much. I'm so glad you enjoyed my project in this video. I work in metric measurements for A4 cardstock, as metric is what we use in Australia and this is what the majority of Australian cardmakers use. The reason I don't give imperial (inches) measurements on my Live videos is because imperial cardstock in the USA is Letter size which is a different size to our A4 metric sized cardstock in Australia, so our measurements are not a straight conversion for a Letter size card base. Metric card base (half of an A4 sheet) is taller and more narrow, where as Letter sized card base (half of a Letter sized sheet) is shorter and wider, so if I convert my measurements to inches, they would not fit on the US sized card base and I feel it would confuse people. I hope that makes sense.

@@mandywitherby1273 oh that's strange as I have been teaching for 22years firstly with CM then CTMH and now SU and all the consultants I know plus the one's that come to my workshop all use inches Thankyou for your reply and I look forward to your next video

@@diannewood2639 it sounds like we’ve been crafting and teaching for a similar time frame. When I’m doing scrapbooking I often revert to the old imperial measurements (as in scrapbooking inches is more common) but for cardmaking I use mostly use metric.
