I'm not really sure why this is up here, I didn't do it. Nonetheless, its fun to see this here when I can raise my eyes from my laptop and see it in person,. My wife wanted to keep it, and she doesn't ask for many. This is probably from the lats 90's, I would have to look. If anyone wants to see more, my website is www.johnjordanwoodturning.com

Looks like a Sam maloof rocker he is sitting in .
@tomw77517 жыл бұрын
It is. I sat in it a few years back; I was up at Ellsworth's place for a few days of lessons.

It's a Maloof rocker. I sat in it a dozen or so years ago. His house was full of stuff from other great artists.
@tomw77515 жыл бұрын
It is, as the others have said, a Maloof rocker, it was my privilege to sit in David Ellsworth's Maloof rocker. He made us lunch, and served potato chips in a Richard Raffan bowl. Ellsworth is a gentleman and a fine artist.

As someone who has always worked in wood on a more common basis and has always appreciated the beauty in just the grain structure..........this kind of stuff is sex on a stick as far as I am concerned......regardless of skill level, or economic level,........it is all about someone looking beyond the skills he has mastered.......got to love it

What a beautiful person this most profound artist is. Rarely can a person carry so much grace. His work is truly an inspiration to any beholder. His existence is a great gift to the world; if only there were more Williams in this ailing planet. We'd be saved. Thank you so much for posting this magical documentary.

which angle do you use to make this circle?

Divide 180 by the number of segments. I.e. 180/16 = 11.25 degrees.

Justin Ahrens Please don’t bother answering such an idiotic question. These “people”don’t deserve to watch something so precious; it’s lost on them.
